I called to verify Paris Eye Care accepted my insurance before making an appointment, as I would be a new patient for them. I was told they accepted my insurance, so I set the appointment with them. About 2 weeks later, show up for the appointment and Paris Eye Care tells me, "They don't know if they told me, they don't accept 'Tricare'." I would never have set the appointment in the first place if they didn't take my insurance, hence the initial call to verify they were in network before making the appontment. MyEyeDr.(chain) takes benefeds(FEDVIP) / Tricare if you can make the trip to Jackson, TN. Frustrating for many reasons, and it would seem that they do not want to help with fed employees and vets with their vision needs by remaining out of insurance network.

Less than 2 weeks later she went back. They took molds and were making them to fit. Another couple of weeks went by and they came in. She went to pick them up, and while they did seem to fir, the office " forgot" they needed a remote so we go another 3 weeks and she gets the remote. All seems fine (finally). The remote stopped working. We put in new batteries but still doesn't work. She tried to make an appointment with the DOCTOR, but he's only there 2 days a week so she had to wait 2 more weeks before he was in ghe office. He's only there 2 days a week. We got a call to schedule her today...thinking it would be with the Doctor which is what she firmly told the person making appointments. She goes, no Doctor and they don't repair the remotes. She had firmly but politely made it clear that she wanted to see the Doctor not the nurse, who had previously not been stellar. She now has to wait 7-10 business days for the remote. We have had nothing but trouble with them. Would not recommend this place at all. So we are now 4 1/2 months in with maybe 7 days that they worked properly. And they were several thousand dollars. So frustrating.
