I called to verify Paris Eye Care accepted my insurance before making an appointment, as I would be a new patient for them. I was told they accepted my insurance, so I set the appointment with them. About 2 weeks later, show up for the appointment and Paris Eye Care tells me, "They don't know if they told me, they don't accept 'Tricare'." I would never have set the appointment in the first place if they didn't take my insurance, hence the initial call to verify they were in network before making the appontment. MyEyeDr.(chain) takes benefeds(FEDVIP) / Tricare if you can make the trip to Jackson, TN. Frustrating for many reasons, and it would seem that they do not want to help with fed employees and vets with their vision needs by remaining out of insurance network.

Paris Eye Care is one of the best eye doctors I have ever been to. Most eye doctors would…read moreimmediately try to put me into contacts-- even after telling them that contacts did not work for me and only dried my eyes out even worse. They took the time to listen to me and actually listened when I said I was only interested in getting GLASSES. Also, Ms. Tennille at the front desk is so sweet. She's patient and answered any questions that I had.

Every time I visited it seemed my mom…read morewas battling their automated phone system to figure out if a prescription was ready or to find out the reason for a delay. After many minutes, she could eventually get someone on the phone, and there were often delays in medications they were expecting. On the advice of a healthcare professional helping my mom, we looked into local pharmacies that might be able to deliver when my dad couldn't leave my mom to travel to get a prescription. I couldn't be happier that we found the Hopkins Apothecary. You can actually get someone on the phone reliably in under a minute. You can walk and get immediate help, but they also deliver at no charge. They also have a huge selection of interesting kids toys and gifts. Much better than going to the local Walmart to have your soul sucked. Everyone in Camden should be patronizing this business.

I had called multiple dental offices in St. Louis and no one would return my calls. I knew that I wanted to go home (Martin, TN) to see a dentist. I called Fletcher Dental in Paris after reading the great reviews. They did not disappoint!! I saw Dr. Graves and I can not say enough about his great bedside manner! They fit me into their schedule and were able to pull them the same day instead of making me come back. That speaks volumes to me. The process was pain free and I'm on day 2 and still without a pain pill. I already made an appointment to go back in a couple of weeks to have my teeth cleaned. I can not thank the staff enough for being so accommodating and friendly. I am more than happy to drive 3+ hours again to see them. On another note, the office is located in a beautifully restored building and it is absolutely breathtaking. I was very impressed they did not take it and turn it into something modern. Again, I can not say enough about how great everyone and everything was!!

I usually always like the nurses, but the doctors seem to rush you and act like they really don't care about patients. It's an ok place if you have something very minor, but if it's more serious I advise you going somewhere else. I've known people personally to have some very bad doctor advice here that made them even sicker and had to go to another doctor to even get better. One pro is this is a walk in clinic, so no appointment needed.
