I drove all the way from St. Louis, Missouri to Fletcher Dental. I was in severe jaw pain due to my wisdom teeth. I had called multiple dental offices in St. Louis and no one would return my calls. I knew that I wanted to go home (Martin, TN) to see a dentist. I called Fletcher Dental in Paris after reading the great reviews. They did not disappoint!! I saw Dr. Graves and I can not say enough about his great bedside manner! They fit me into their schedule and were able to pull them the same day instead of making me come back. That speaks volumes to me. The process was pain free and I'm on day 2 and still without a pain pill. I already made an appointment to go back in a couple of weeks to have my teeth cleaned. I can not thank the staff enough for being so accommodating and friendly. I am more than happy to drive 3+ hours again to see them. On another note, the office is located in a beautifully restored building and it is absolutely breathtaking. I was very impressed they did not take it and turn it into something modern. Had a appointment for over a month arrived early stood in cold to call to tell them i was there phone always busy. Finally got inside and waited and waited and watched 6 people go before me 5 of which i had arrived before them. Phone rings while Im sitting there its the dentist office why would they be calling me. 40 min after arrival I'm told its at least 30 more minutes to wait at least she said. Im already upset to watch all those people go in rooms then be told theres no rooms left. I really liked my dentist last time its unfortunate your office is ran so poorly. I was willing to overlook the front desk being snappy when I scheduled the appt but this I wont stand for. I should have been called first i had a appointment for a month! 20 dollar in gas wasted and my time. I wish I had known I could have gotten in sooner and saw a different dentist NOW I STILL HAVE DENTAL PAIN AND NO DENTIST. read more

I was in severe pain with both my top and bottom hurting. I have not been to a dentist in 18 years because I have what is referred to as a double jaw bone so it makes working on my teeth time consuming and frustrating and going to the dentist is always super painful and the dentist always gets impatient and aggravated. I was in so much pain this time I had to go. My mom highly recommended Fletcher. I drove the hour to go. Dr. Graves worked me in. The staff was very kind. His assistant did x rays and she explained thoroughly what was going on. I also appreciated they tell you BEFORE the procedure what the cost will be so your not caught by surprise and can decide what to do even down to the calming gas. Dr. Graves has a very calming demeanor. He put in the numbing stuff and said it was most important to him that I wasn't in pain. Even put in extra to make sure. Before starting he would test areas in my mouth to make sure I was numb. Of course the double bone in my jaw did cause problems and he was SO patient and even joked with me saying "oh we will get it. We will just take it one step at a time and eventually it will let go". He didn't act hurried, frustrated, or rushed even with a full waiting room of patients. Although they are always busy they hire adequate staff so that someone is always taking care of a need you have so your not waiting forever. They have it running like a well oiled machine. His MAIN concern was that I wasn't in pain or full of anxiety over what was happening, which was an experience I never had before. I even scheduled in more work for a couple weeks later without fear and terror this time and GLADLY make the hour+ trip to go. My mom also goes here to Dr. Fletcher and has the same high review that they focus on being as painless as possible knowing that a dentist visit can be a scary one but Dr. Graves took the fear out of it for me. If the review went above 5stars I would have picked the highest one available!!!! read more

i was referred to fletcher by the website of my humana dental plan. i made an appt, went there and had an exam. they said i needed a filling, and my co-pay was $42, i paid it, and the work was done. then i got a bill for $493! my insurance said they were out of network ( even though i got them from HUMANAS website!) seems fletcher dental moved and failed to inform the insurance company. you would think it would be an easy fix, right? wrong! i've been doing all the "leg" work for them, calling the insurance company, appealing, etc... finally, i got the humana rep and fletchers acct on a 3 way call and i thought everything was resolved. never got another bill in the mail or a phone call, a year later, i get a notice from a collection agency to settle my account!! and the filling they put in fell out and i had to have it replaced by another dentist!!!! now I am filing an appeal to humana grievance and appeal to resolve this issue since the dentist doesn't care how they get paid, as long as they get paid! i'm on disability and i barely get by on what i get, and, oh yea, they reported me to the credit bureau... read more
