With some comprehensive and simple tests Evelyn was able to chart my hearing loss accurately. With up to date modern computer technology she set up a test set of hearing aids and BOOM! I was able to hear those sounds I was missing for years. From the emotional side I can't say enough about how actually HEARING again has helped in the last two weeks. As I am getting used to hearing again I go back occasionally and she is able to tweak up each tone so that the units are more acute,more normal and more comfortable. This office is not only efficient but really produces results. The hearing units are top of the line and interface with my i-phone to allow me to set parameters for all kinds of locations and they adjust automatically. She prefers to be called "Doctor Nolder" which is really funny. She must be really new to insist that people call her"doctor". She'll learn. Overall she seemed quite competent, and she checked my ears thoroughly because I supposedly had a piece of earwax covering my eardrum that the doctor couldn't remove, and the doctor made an appointment for me to see an ENT specialist in January of 2026. Doctor Nolder checked my ears and didn't find anything. She told me to go ahead and see the ENT to get them to do a hearing test, because I'm overdue for one. She said to get a copy of the test and bring it on my next appointment in June. Anyway, she is really nice and polite. I intend to keep seeing her because of this. They've gone through so many changes in the past year, but hopefully this will stick.
