I was greeted upon arrival by an absolute gem of a lady who was as knowledgeable as she was charming. The vibe of this tasting room is fun with a fresh, lively patio, a cozy little lounge tucked away in the back, and a cafe space betwixt the two. The food was paired nicely with the wines. I'm sure you can select your own menu items if you feel so inclined, but I relied on the expertise of my knowledgeable Somm and she definitely did not let me down.

We happened upon this place while walking to T-Mobile park from Belltown. We had a delightful Sauvignon Blanc and charcuterie board while we sat outside enjoying the quiet tree-lined square. The wine was not the usual take on Sauvignon Blanc, and was delightful. Dawn did a wonderful job guiding us to just the right wine choice. Local cheeses and meats were paired with Dijon mustard, dried figs, and strawberry jam. We ate every morsel! The entire experience was an unexpected pleasure on our way to root for the Mariners. We recommend this place highly!

It's always fun to try a new wine bar! Locus is really cool- it has that historic pioneer square feel combined with some modern touches. It felt really urban and cool and had fabulous people watching. I love the way they do the wine flights! Each wine came with a little card with some info, which was really informative and fun. I did the "staff picks" flight and let my server pick her favorites to serve me, which was really fun. The wines were all phenomenal, but the Grenache was definitely my favorite! They also have a ton of excellent food, which all paired so well with the wine. I was hungry and tried a LOT! The mushroom risotto was an obvious fave and was rich and wonderful. I also liked the cheese and Mezze boards- perfect amount of food for a snack. They offer gluten free crackers as well! You also have the option to add on a chocolate pairing to your wine flight, which is so fun. The service was a little slow, but our server was lovely and definitely did what she could to make us feel special.

A fantastic place to check out the local Seattle scene. Keenaan was an awesome sever/wine-tender and knew so much about the wine. We started with a flight and stayed for the delicious small bites. I'm here for a conference and I love straying off the beaten path. Highly recommend this local gem.

Our amazing hosts and wine connoisseurs. Dawn and Keenan

Stopped in for a wine tasting. Tried the red wine flight and the white wine flight. It was great. Dawn was so welcoming. We had such a fun time. She was very knowledgeable about the wines and wasn't rushed at all. Keenan was awesome and always available to assist. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours during our time in Seattle. Location and people watching were amazing as well. Oh and the wine? It was so good we bought a bottle to take home and plan to order a case to be shipped.

My mom and I came in and we had such a great time! Dawn was amazing, friendly, and welcoming. We sat in the back room on the couches where she had cards and games for us. I would recommend more couches for the rest of the place because it was so nice to really relax.

Dined in for a lovely Friday date night! Made a same-day reservation and a clean table was ready for us when we arrived. They had ample seating indoors and outdoors so our server gave us some flexibility on seating. We opted for an outdoor table to enjoy the beautiful weather and soak in the sunlight and breeze filtering through the trees of Pioneer Square. Our server was friendly, accommodating, and quick to offer a refill at the sight of an empty glass! They answered any questions we had about the menu and were informative and descriptive when presenting the wines and the sharable plates. I got the Rhône Rangers flight and my wife got the Bartender Roulette flight. Each wine flight came with 4 pours. Of the wines we tried, the 2018 Locus Naches Heights Syrah was our favorite. Intrigue Chocolate down the brick path was closed by the time we arrived at Pioneer Square, so we ordered the chocolate tasting. All of the chocolate was yummy and complex, but the lavender chocolate was so delicious that I've dreamed about it since that night. We also shared a large wild mushroom risotto and a cheese-only board. While the portions are small, the risotto was creamy and rich with flavor and the cheese-to-cracker ratio of the cheese board was quite satisfactory.

    Meze plate and wine:)

On a whim we stopped by for a wine tasting and food. We could not be more pleased with our experience. Dawn, the sommelier, was outstanding with her recommendations. We enjoyed the experience so much we enrolled in their wine club. We look forward to stopping in again!

What a beautiful spot to drink wine outside and have delicious bites. The service was amazing. The wine flight was so fun and tasty. Fun experience especially for date night. My favorite was the pita bread and hummus. I'd come back!

I was blown away when I walked in they remembered our names, close to a month later. Wow! The service is outstanding and they are always smiling. The food is tasty and matches their wines. I'm looking forward to trying one of their wine club events.

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Pike Place and enjoy wine (or cocktails, or fun, or all of the above) this place is a must. I can almost guarantee it'll become your new favorite spot.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!

We used the small tasting glasses to try a variety of their offerings and look forward to coming back for more! They have TV's so you can watch the game and the day we were there there was a painting class going on that had the whole room packed. The food selection is lacking, but we did order a pretzel that come with a yummy and spicy cheese sauce. The ambiance is really chill, clean, and has a cool swing set. When we were Yelping where we should go for a light bite and some drinks-- all the other spots around us weren't giving us the vibe that Tapster did. Service was great, it was my first time so they explained how the cards work and encouraged us to try different things and how all of the taps were organized. Don't forget to leave you drink card in the box before you leave!

They brought out the wines one at a time- describing each one in detail, even pointing out which were their favorites. The service was very personable, which is something I don't always get at other places that do wine tastings. The chocolates were melt in your mouth, with unique flavors, making it extra fun. I must note- getting the flights that we did was pricey, but I know, most wine tastings and fancy chocolates are going to be expensive. I also wish there was a little more chocolate in the flight.
