I've been wanting fuller looking lips for a while. About 10 years ago, I had my first lip filler, and it was a disaster. I explained to the doctor, who i will not name, that I wanted a very natural look without it looking like monkey lips. It was huge, and overly done. I wanted to cry. Being it was my first time, I was devastated, and told myself no more. Over the years my lips have become much thinner and I wanted to try it again. I've been following Locococo Aesthetix for a while, and loved their outcome, happy clients, reviews, and their happy clients posting months afterwards. I've read every review on their page, and decided to give it another try. Since the hyaluronic pen was the craze, I opted to go that route. I had 3 sessions @ $150-$200 for 1ml. The first 2 sessions were 6 months apart. Immediately, after each session my lips looked beautiful. About a week or two later I felt like like my lips were a tiny bit plump, but thinning out. I was told it should last a year. About a year later and did my 3rd session. I still wasn't sold. I finally decided to give the real deal, lip filler a try lol. My beautiful technician was Nicole. She was very informative, answered all my questions, filled me in on questions I wouldn't know to ask and, lastly, made me feel comfortable. The numbing gel is bomb!! You could feel a little prick but not bad at all. I explained to her that I did not want mega lips!! I wanted a natural, subtle with a little plump. Because I do not use a lot of make up I didn't want my lips to look crazy on the days I want to stay in my pj's, messy hair, don't care, and no make-up days, if you know what mean hehe. My left side lip was a little lower than my right so Nicole suggested I get a small dose of Botox to lift the lip. After the session was done Nicole said to give it about 14 days for my lips to adjust, and set in. My lips were a little swollen but not that much. Luckily, masks are mandatory lol. It's been a little over 14 days and I am so happy!! It is exactly what I asked for. Natural and subtle with the perfect plump on the no make up days, and lipstick days are beautiful. Did I mention that I only used 0.5ml. I'd definitely do it again. I always told myself I won't do Botox but I think that will be my next adventure, and Nicole at Locococo Aesthetix will be my go to girl. I wanted to give myself a birthday present. I've noticed that as I am getting older my lips were appearing thinner and wrinkles more apparent. So I thought I would go for the works, I booked Juvederm lip filler, botox on my forehead and dermaplaning. Booking was easy via Square, and the app kept me up-to-date (via text and email) on my upcoming appointment and required confirmation that I was still attending. I arrived on time and was not impressed with the exterior of the building, but I did appreciate conveniently located and ample parking. As I entered the office I quickly impressed. Although small, the space functioned well and the decor was professional, modern, and informational. The office consists of 3 different entrepreneurs, VitaDrip 808, Kai's Beauty Room 808, and LocoCoco Aesthetix. Nicole was professional from beginning to end. She did my dermaplaning first, it was comfortable, painless, and quick. After that, we moved on to the numbing process to prep for the botox and lip filler. Since I was just sitting around I asked if I could add on a Rejuvenate + Glutathione bag from VitaDrip 808. Even though Joan was busy with other customers in her treatment room she was able to accommodate my request and hook me up. So as I sat there getting numb, I was also sitting there getting nutrient filled! After the IV drip was done and I was numb we went back to LocoCoco Aesthetix's treatment room and the process began. She began with my lips, she let me know every step of the way what she was doing and reminding me to breathe as she inserted the needle. She took her time and stepped back repeatedly to assess the progress and calculate if she needed to address other areas. Next was the botox on my forehead. She had me make multiple faces as she mapped out where she was going to inject. It was quick, quicker than the lips. She provided me with verbal instructions and descriptive instructions via text on my aftercare (what to expect, what to do, etc.) and went over each procedure reviewing what she did and assessing the outcome. She takes before and after pics so you have something to compare immediately but of course, the final effects don't kick in until after everything has healed.
