I have going to night hawk tattoo my whole life and have been more than satisfied with all my tattoos done. They will always make sure that you will never regret your decision with the tattoo by asking if you are sure this is the smartest decision. I have recently gotten a tattoo removed from my younger days. They offered me a discount because I wasn't able to afford the process. They discounted me because it was a offensive tattoo I got in my younger days! Overall this joint is an amazing place! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The idea, as it was explained to me is simple, "Do what you love." The shop is in downtown Kitchener just above a 20/20 Optical which sounds like an odd place but the space is perfect. There isn't a lot of walk in traffic but you can always show up without an appointment and if they're busy they'll book you in right there. Calling ahead is always your best option as these gentlemen can have a waiting list. There are four artists (plus an apprentice) that call this place home and each one has his own style. Just taking a look around the shop is a good indication of how well rounded they are as the walls are covered in sketches and drawings all done by the shop artists. Sometimes they have prints for sale of these pieces. The shop itself is open, well lit and clean as a whistle. Everything is sterilized and packaged properly. Counters and work stations are constantly wiped down, cleaned and cleaned again. There is a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that seems inviting and positive. I think it's just a natural side effect of enjoying your work. There isn't much in the way of parking so you might have to hunt for a spot at a parking lot close by (a block or so away at best, two or three at worst).

My fingers invariably keep landing on their site as a place I know will take great care of me and give me a first class tattoo that will give me pride to look at for the rest of my life. I'll be booking my consultation with someone soon guys! Well done on your success.

Let's proceed. Firstly, the shop is cool. A really well designed, nice looking space with art on the walls and interesting tidbits to catch your eye. There's a small coffee bar in the front that brews Shop Bike coffee alongside selling merch. The barista was friendly and made a delicious latte. Check out their giant vases of 1" pins with original art from the artists. The back of the shop is filled with the usual tattoo shop gear. I've heard nothing but great things about the owner's work, as well as the other artists that work here. Excellent drawing work, beautiful colour, clean lines, very creative, enjoyable sessions, etc. Check this place out if you're looking to get a tattoo in the Kincardine area.

Piercings are one of those things that you really get what you pay for. And although you may pay a little more at THRIVE, it's because they're using top of the line jewellery and equipment to make sure you get a safe piercing that heals up beautifully. I have a giant arm piece that I bought second skin for because I was concerned about infection. Cas has never used and clearly didn't bother to look into it because when the tattoo was finished she said, "I'm not sure if I'm supposed to wash the tattoo before we put it on, but you'll only be wearing it for 24hrs." I got a TERRIBLE infection that pushed out a ton of her work. I wasn't upset with her, it was clearly an accidental mistake. I reached out to her to tell her about it and send her pictures. I assumed she'd take responsibility and give me some free hours to make up for this careless mistake. Instead she ghosted me. She won't respond to phone calls or emails. This is literally the craziest tattoo experience I've ever had. Bad service doesn't even began to describe this, do not ever go to this place.
