I had locked my keys, the only set, in my 1997 Subaru. The technician worked diligently to get the lock open. He was unable to open the lock with the tools at his disposal (note - 1997 Subaru!). So he took a photo of the key, which was lying in the driver's seat. He then went to his truck and, referencing the image, cut a new key. That key worked like a dream. Five star service. They cut a key for my very early 90's car. At first it didn't fit. The gentlemen came out to my car to exam the key and re did it. The second time it worked but it was tight. And they showed up pretty quick to get there Andrew showed up unlocked the car and drove off so I had to call him back to jump the battery witch was the whole reason my car wouldn't unlock in the first place he gave me a very rude sarcastic attitude about me needing him to jump the car. Then he insults my mother in law and tells me it's not my battery I tell him it's clearly the batter the radio won't come on he say no it's not and leaves. I was down to a spare key and needed a replacement key that was "lost" by the dealership when I purchased my car. Unfortunately, the spare key does not have remote access. It requires manually unlocking the driver door, and then, having to press the power door locks from inside the car to unlock the remaining doors. That alone, drove me insane. Now, I understand why the dealership I purchased it from never bothered to have this kind of key made (integrated chip key and fob). $185 plus tax later, but well worth the cost to restore some sanity. My car would not start after AAA replaced the battery. The alarm system locked down and we could not figure it out. The AAA driver that replaced the battery called LockMan and he was out in 15 minutes. He was very courteous and attentive and we figured out manually how to disarm the lockdown. (If you are ever in this situation, unlock the door with the key, and then inside of the car, unlock the passenger doors with the manual push button. He tried and tried to get the keyless entry to work with a new key. Programmed it properly but would not unlock the doors. Then I remembered that shortly after I had bought the car, the keyless stopped working with the original key. More than likely, the receiver for the key fob is not working correctly or not at all. He made three trips out to try and fix it and eventually, we determined that was probably the problem. Not only did he help me get the car to start after the battery was replaced, he gave me the new key that he could not get to open the doors (but works fine in the ignition - a $175.00 key - for free. Also no charge for coming out and assisting. That, my friends, is superior service! read more

ok now let me start off by saying that before I called Lock-Man Locksmiths I called around EVERYWHERE for a good place to get a normal transponder/chip key copy for my car. Every place quoted me 150-200 and even more. On top of that they all were very shady in the way they described their "service charges" as well as their "and up" prices. Also they had no office and were only mobile. I was very frustrated until I decided to call Lock-Man Locksmiths. They gave me a price less than half what the competitors were charging and had me in and out in about 20 minutes. On top of that they have the solid local feel I was looking for in a locksmith, not some fly by night operation that won't be around next year. Beware of locksmiths on craigslist and other sites who quote you a price on the phone and try to up charge you when they get to you. Lock-Man Locksmiths are the real deal. So much so, I drove all the way from Tampa to Pinellas Park to use their services and will do so in the future. read more
