Bob was not only able to sell me a cylinder, he had a choice of finishes. He also keyed the lock for me to make entry into my home seamless. I went back to have the lock's spring latch reversed and then again to have a striker plate that was off by a fraction of an inch resized. Bob put them on his workbench reversed the latch and filed down the striker until it was a perfect fit for the lock. Bob made working on this 90 year old lock assembly look easy. As someone that works full time, I find that this store's Saturday hours are very convenient. Saturdays hours are sporadic, so call before you go, yet you will often find bob in the store "Catching up on paper work". So... If you are working with old doors and their locks, keep this store's number in your back pocket, cause you'll most likely be beating a path to their location.

I took it apart after it fell off and revealed that the handle was hanging by two washers on oversized holes they drilled. they installed a metal plate to secure the handle, which could be removed with a screwdriver and that was all that was securing our doors. They were very communicative before they got paid, but absolutely radio silent on the callback. Never once arrived on time. Took multiple appointments for them to come back out, and I had to initiate the call for a missed appointment window every time. The final service before we cancelled took 5 or 6 tries. called on Monday, appointment Tuesday 11-1, called Tuesday at 1, technician has an "emergency", appointment now wednesday 11-1, call wednesday 11:40 to confirm, confirmed, call wednesday at 1, running late so expect tech at 3, call at 3, told 3:30, call at 3:30, told 4, tech arrives at 4:15. He leaves after an hour and again promises he'll be back the next day with parts. Lock and handle assembly falls off on Thursday, they call back Friday when I cancel their service. Sometimes service calls take longer than expected, whatever. Call and tell me you're running late!!! And the dispatcher was rude as hell when I told them we were going with another company after their workmanship literally fell off the door.
