I was locked out of my car and called State Farm roadside assistance and they designated this company to get me access. It was 40° outside so I was sitting at a table in my wheelchair watching out the window at my car for when a service showed up.
This car showed up with a man driving and a woman in the passenger seat parking very close to my car inside the handicap ramp area. Had I gone out to my car? I would not have been able to get inside the door. Nor would somebody be able to open it , as there was no space. There were no markings on the vehicle and the friend I had sitting with me even thought that they were an Uber eats driver.
The mail stated that he called our room. My phone did not ring. I was given their number by State Farm and I called. They stated they had just left and would not turn around. They had already gotten paid so they didn't care if I got it or not. They told me to call and get another service out there because they would not return . I called State Farm and asked for another service and unfortunately they designated the same company.
Instead of an ETA of 15 minutes I was given an ATM 90 minutes to 120 minutes. The guy called me back and became argumentative telling me I was misogynistic because the female in the car was allegedly the business owner. I explain to him I could care less who the owner was just as it is unprofessional be driving around with your girlfriend unlocking vehicles without a marking on your vehicle to designate that you were a locksmith company. Also due to the weather, that he should've come inside, to announce his arrival.
They then told State Farm that they could not locate my vehicle so that they could attempt to be paid a second time stating that I was not adhering to an alleged contract that the mail driver said was in existence. I had told him I know of no contract just that I need my vehicle unlocked .
I called my agent and explain the situation. He told me to call Pop a lock, and he would write me a check for the amount. Pop a lock came out and unlocked my car within 15 minutes.
Lock and load is far from professional or ethical. They stated when they got the second assignment, they allegedly had 30 calls to take care of since they initially came out which was five minutes. So they are liars. I had texted them to express my forgiveness for their behavior, and stated that State Farm has an open case and wants the paperwork I sent him is concluded that they will be removed from a vendor for State Farm.
These are bad people stay away. Call pop a lock they come out in marked vehicles with one person. Being a person in a wheelchair, I don't need to be fearful by having multiple people in a single vehicle to allegedly help me. That is how many people in my situation get mugged or worse. Then to refuse to unlock a car and stated you had already gotten paid so you don't care again is unethical. read more
