First off, this restaurant is really beautiful and located in the super cute village of Woburn. The cobblestone, old church, and small shops are very sweet and walkable. We drove through the Deer Park (about five minutes away) and saw hundreds of deer and stags at sunset. It was such a magical way to start the evening.
We then parked in the public parking lot and walked over to Loch Fyne restaurant. The place is known for their seafood, so we all went with fish dishes. I started with the superfood salad, which had broccoli, asparagus, pink grapefruit, avocado, pomegranate, soya beans, mixed seeds, and rice. It was good and healthy, but honestly felt like a strange combination of ingredients. I also got the smoked haddock fishcakes, which were similar to a fish croquette and very tasty.
I'd definitely come back to this spot, as it was both aesthetically pleasing, tasty, and the service was impressive! read more
