I called the business and arranged a date and time to have our carpet cleaned. The scheduled morning, I received a call from the technician asking if it was still "a go". I responded yes. An hour later, he notified me that he would be late and, one hour after that, he contacted me to say that the truck had to be towed and he wouldn't be able to do the job today. Later, the owner called and asked me why I cancelled the appointment. I was shocked and relayed each text message that I'd received from the technician. The owner said he'd call me back and, true to his word, he did. He was very apologetic for the actions of his staff and, while I appreciated the apology, it was disappointing that he offered no solution (such as getting someone to my home to do the job).
