I had the opportunity to finally pop in and see their store this weekend. It's in downtown Chico, lots of street parking, and a parking lot right next door also. Beautiful tree lined street, gorgeous building. This is where they do all their printing and there are several beautiful printing presses. I love that vibe. The store carries all of their card designs and some other knick knacks and gift items. A good place to find a unique gift and a gorgeous card. I am particularly fond of their card designs that look like tile. I enjoyed a nice visit with the employee working that day. It's a beautiful space!! Can't wait to come back.

The prices here can be a little higher, but if you have everything already packed up, or even a pre-purchased label, you won't have to worry about any of that. It's always clean inside, staff is quick to get the line moving and to make things as easy as possible for you. Parking is also extremely convenient here, unlike at the post office.

During my most recent visit, multiple employees were standing around talking among themselves while several customers were clearly struggling to use the self-service machines. When customers asked for help, staff were dismissive, reluctant, and appeared annoyed at being interrupted. Assistance, when given, felt forced and minimal. Some customers were left confused and unsupported despite employees being readily available. This is not an isolated incident. I have observed this same behavior on multiple occasions at this location. The consistent lack of professionalism, urgency, and basic customer care reflects poorly on FedEx and suggests a management issue that needs immediate attention. Customers should not feel ignored or burdensome when seeking help, especially in a service-based business. I strongly urge FedEx to address employee accountability and retraining at this location. I did one packet double sided and went to do a second packet. I never changed the settings and the machine made the packet one sided and charging me the same as the first packet. I asked the assistant manager for a refund. He said no. I went up to the counter and asked for the manager. The assistant manager said there was no manager on the weekend. I said I still wanted the refund because I did not change the settings. He said he would give it to me but said I had to leave the store because I was lying about the machine. I left. Most staff members have come across as impolite, and often there's little to no eye contact or basic acknowledgment of the customer. Customer service really sets the tone for a business, especially when handling quick service tasks like returns. There's definitely significant room for improvement in how customers are greeted and assisted. I genuinely hope management takes this as constructive feedback and works toward creating a friendlier, more attentive environment. I wish them well and hope to see positive changes in the future.

In my case, I had just learned my party was leaving the country & I just recieved their adress. I…read moreneeded to serve someone in their home city on a Thursday night and if I had no luck, I needed another process server to serve the person in a entirely different city on Friday. The urgency was that the person was leaving the country on Saturday. I called several process servers in both cities and had difficulty getting a response. Though I worked with a very responsive server in the city for Friday and I paid him (as it was getting late, 5p, on Thursday and I wasn't getting any calls back about serving the party on Thursday... Even the butte county sheriff's office neglected for an entire two weeks to call me back) eventually Amber from AW Legal services called me back. I was frustrated that I had lost the money (due to the lack of responsiveness from several places in Chico) from paying the other processor for the Friday job. However once Amber called, we discussed the entire process, the identification information, and her pricing. I had a fee waiver for the county, but you can't use it if they never call you back so I was happy to find that Amber's pricing is extremely reasonable!!! I made the payment and I advised the Friday process server (in the Friday city), right away, that I might be able to get it done that evening (with AW Legal) but the chances were slim. He told me to let him know if I got it done. Shocked as all get out, Amber, with only basic address info (wasn't 100% sure about the way the apartment # was written) managed to serve the party within two hours. But here's the icing on the cake... My paralegal had multiple misscommunications with myself & Amber in regards to getting the original paperwork from Amber so that it could be delivered to the court. Eventually, I had to cut out the middle man and (2 weeks after service) ask Amber to please send it directly to me. She paid out of her pocket to overnight it to me. This act alone deserves five stars! I was extremely thankful. Amber will send you simple smile emojis, one word answers, and she's not very verbose in her texts (Lol) but she gets to the point, will get the job done, quickly, and correctly. And she is the type that will stick with you until it is done! I couldn't have been happier with her kindness, her commitment to completing the job, her relaxed nature (at a time that is stressful to her clients), and her professionalism.

The restoration is excellent! I highly recommend her to anyone who has a very old photo that needs work before reprinting. Work was done when promised at a reasonable price. She was honest about any limitations on the quality of the work.
