This is serve yourself sit down restaurant. Staff not friendly food not impressive at all, cute name good view other than that try somewhere else. Fruit not in season

    Patio and food.

This is a nice location at the Plymouth waterfront with a partial view of the water. The pastrami melt was perfect on the patio on a beautiful spring day. Very nice staff.

    Local Açaí Bowl

Came here for coffee and ended up with an açaí bowl. They don't offer lates or cappuccinos so I opted for a sugar high. The ambiance is great, especially outside on the deck. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. The presentation of the açaí bowl was decent enough but a little too sweet. Also, I found a tiny fruit fly on one of the banana slices. For the price, the bowl really wasn't worth it. Overall, this experience was average.

Nice place for breakfast! Very close to our hotel and they open early at 7am. I had a Turkey sandwich for breakfast bc it seemed biting to have a taste of Thanksgiving in Plymouth. My kids had standard breakfast food and it was reasonably priced. This pace is counter service and they bring the food to your table. We went on a lovely August morning. I can imagine it isn't great in bad weather.

    Bananas Foster Pancakes

Wow!! I feel like I am a connoisseur of bananas foster pancakes, and am always trying to find some with the perfect balance of sugar, delicious sauce, and cooked banana. These pancakes hit it out of the park! The BEST have ever had!! Quite near perfection! Highly recommend! The Monte Cristo was also good, I feel like I was missing some delicious swiss cheese to go with the sammy, but it could hold it's own. We loved the patio area outside. It was beautiful! Nice shaded areas with a view of the ocean. Such a nice relaxing place to hang out and enjoy time with family and friends. Definitely recommend!!!

    Classic Breakfast Sandwich

Stayed in Plymouth over the weekend. Local Roots had a nice vibe with friendly employees. The breakfast sandwich was really delicious and a bonus was a live musician playing outside.

Bloody Mary amazing. Breakfast burrito perfect with home fried potatoes. Also tried a bite of the fried chicken sandwich. That is so so so good.

    French toast monte Christo

What a great find!! We went for Memorial Day mid morning breakfast. Very fresh, very tasty. Not greasy at all. Great variety on the menu. You order yourself and the food gets delivered to your seat. Loved it! They also had a gentleman named Ken Montiero playing acoustic (which happens to be a favorite of mine) If you have a chance to see him, I recommend you go. One of the other other things I loved is they had bar stools up in the porch for bar type seating.

    Lots of toppings.

Ordered a protein bowl off the açaí bowls and it was a soupy mess a dog wouldn't eat. Pretty disappointing.

I just had a (gluten free) peanut açaí bowl that exploded with fruity flavors. SO GOOD! The base of the delight was a frozen purée from açaí berries, which resemble and kinda tastes like blueberries. This was topped with strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, with a touch of maple syrup, and chocolate. Very very yummy and healthy too! I have not tried the Poke Me bowls yet. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is neat and clean, the decor is OK and they are working on making it fit their style. Great reggae music too!

This includes a bed of spinach, rice, marinated chickpeas, roasted cauliflower & broccoli, marinated beets, and the BEST dressing. The dressing is addicting. I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

The staff is very friendly, even during the dinner rush when there are shows in town. The place is a little dark, but it's a pub -- that's part of the atmosphere. I started with an Allagash Ale while my wife had water. I always seem to gravitate toward the fish and chips, which are consistently crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. This time around, my wife ordered the fish tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them. If you're heading to a show at the Hall, I highly recommend stopping here beforehand.
