I sooo tried to like this place, my daughter and some-in-law love it and gave me a gift certificate. Sat inside...place was maybe 1/4 full but me right next to the service entrance and station...grand central station. Appetizer came out quickly and then right behind was dinner and I purposefully waited to order no time to enjoy. Scallops were way overcooked and I guess it was my fault for not paying attention to detail "Who puts Scallops on top of corn kernels"? Don't Order. They gave me 5 tiny scallops...they should have been the appetizer. Called and left a voice mail for a Manager to call. Never heard from anyone.

Super cozy dinner spot near the Mirabeau Spa. This is definitely a good spot to eat off property. You need reservations for a Saturday night as the place was packed. I had the steak frites special which was so good.

Incredible ambiance dining outside during these beautiful late summer days. The outdoor bar is now enclosed with fun party lights. Low key music, great service and really good bites. The summer stone fruit salad with grilled shrimp was impeccable. Service was great too. Lovely spot to dine while staying at Mirebeau Inn and Spa!

    Smash burger

we stumbled upon this place a year ago and it truly was a happy accident. The smash burger is the best I've had. The service is excellent always the vibes are great especially if you are sitting outside in their Garden. I would give more than 5 stars to be honest. One of the best bites on the south shore!

Rye Tavern provided one of the best meal experiences I have had in the Cape/Plymouth area. A friend recommended this for a double date night spot and she couldn't have suggested anything better than this. From atmosphere, to service, to food -- every part of our visit was superb. Highly recommend making reservations as early as you can and if you are able to -- reserve a gazebo. We did this and loved it. We started with Caesar Salad and their clam chowder, both fantastic. You cannot come here and skip the chowder. It's truly the best I've ever had. It is a whopping $18 or so, but it is piled with deliciously fried crispy clams and it is totally worth the price tag. I almost requested it without the mashed potatoes, but they work perfectly. I got the prime rib as my entree which is a Wednesday special. It was wonderfully smoked and prepared. Their horseradish cream sauce is decadent. Legit nothing to complain about.

I received recommendations to come here, was told the food great, ambiance ... well yes ambiance nice thats about it. Hostess yes a kid but what a rag a muffin the charge those prices at least have someone with personality 1. And at least half was presentable. Ate inside and now for the waitress again LACKING personality. Food: ordered cauliflower no glaze dry and under cooked Clam chowder tasty only reason this place gets one star Apps took forever to come out Dinner I ordered scallops and when i say no flavor i mean no flavor over cooked and just dreadful My dinner date ordered lobster roll with some stale fries gross no thanks drinks as well BAD!!!! Dont go here and think your going get 5 stars

Everything about the quaint tavern in the woods is amazing! The food, staff, cocktails and the ambience were so darling! Walter, the cheeky ghost who lives there, played a prank on me! It was a fabulous stop!

We enjoyed our meal as the food here is high quality and the chefs are creative with a farm to table presence. My jalapeño tequila Bloody Mary was delicious with the added bacon too. Service was good as we sat outside. Our waitress was there when needed but didn't dote. We did have to ask for a water refill once, but she was training someone who was sweet. The ambiance was nice outside on a perfectly sunny Sunday AM. Love brunch here!

Burger requested "medium" but was definitely well done - no pink to be found

Bartender handled the whole joint on a Saturday lunch. -- Patty Melt: Nice straddling between traditional and innovative. Brisket patty, neither thick nor thin, with a soft grind, cooked showing pink (I asked for medium rare if possible). Bacon-onion-jalapeño jam with some zip and bacon saltiness and bendy texture. Caramelized onions with a hint of sweetness. Partly-melted American cheese. Griddled marble rye with unnoticeable butter. Not perfection, but an enjoyable mix of flavors and textures. -- Fries (with the patty melt): Thin, crunchy shoestrings, aggressively salted, in assorted lengths. -- Quinoa Bowl: Bright flavors, good textures, per my wife. -- Ginger Soda: Made in house, string Ginger flavors, not too much sugar. Very good, though at $7, it's gotta be something you're certain you want. Solid experience. Hard to get a full picture without trying more things, but good enough to try more. And many good options for vegetarian dishes and mocktails.

Found a table indoors (outdoor seating available as well) with ample room for all five of us including dolls, cards, and toys. I ordered a Bloody Mary made with a local alcoholic seltzer which was a great drink but also a significant appetizer with all the fixings. I ordered the "Luca Brazi" sandwich which was excellent and took home half the sandwich for dinner tonight. *Important footnote...I NEVER have leftovers when I order dinner. I ALWAYS eat EVERYTHING!! I highly recommend if you are a tourist (or a local) take the two block walk from visiting The Plymouth Rock and enjoy a great meal and drinks at THE VITAMIN SEA RESTAURANT!!

It…read morewas founded by business partners Dino Funari, Pete Kiley, Josh Sherman and Richard DiBona. Funari, Kiley and Sherman frequently got together on weekends to embrace their love of homebrewing. After doing this for a number of years, and building up a local following distributing their home-brews from a blue cooler, they decided to open a brick & mortar brewery and taproom. At this time, DiBona came on board as a partner and assisted with the search for a location. After exausting all options in the seaside town of Hull, the partners acquired a 3,000-sq-ft space in the "craft beer friendly" town of Weymouth. The name "Vitamin Sea" was chosen to reflect Funari's love of surfing and surf culture. The brewery quickly gained a reputation for their juicy New England IPAs, decadent Stouts, and experimental Fruited Sours. A second location opened along the waterfront in Plymouth in May 2024. I recently visited Vitamin Sea's Plymouth location while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers at a different brewery later. I soon realized that Plymouth has an excellent craft beer scene and decided to head to Vitamin Sea first. The Plymouth facility is a beautiful location along the waterfront. I really liked the nautical/surf design theme too! I grabbed a seat at the bar and began to look over the menu. I heard that the Plymouth location is known for their excellent ciabatta sandwiches, so I ordered the "Parm to Table" (oven-roasted chicken cutlet, house-made marinara, melted mild & aged provolone, Parmesan, whipped lemon ricotta, basil on toasted ciabatta). It was the BEST chicken cutlet sandwich I've ever had in my life! What made it stand apart from other sandwiches? The whipped lemon ricotta! I washed it down with a pour of "Currency Check" (Double New England IPA), followed by "Mexican Blanket" (Imperial Stout). The beer, like the food, was fantastic! I must also point out that the staff were so friendly, knowledgable, and helpful throughout my visit. I highly recommend Vitamin Sea Brewing and look forward to visiting their Weymouth location!
