He was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. He diagnosed the issue quickly, clearly explained exactly what was going on, and had it fixed even faster. What impressed me most was that Shay didn't just repair the system and leave. He took the time to walk me through the basics of my HVAC system, explain what to look out for, and show me a few things I can keep an eye on going forward. He was professional, patient, and clearly knows his trade inside and out. Having someone come out on a Sunday in that kind of heat and humidity and provide this level of service was greatly appreciated. If you're considering Lions HVAC, do yourself a favor and request Shay. He is exactly the kind of technician you hope shows up when your AC goes down. Five-star service from start to finish, and I would absolutely request him again.

It felt high, so I got a few other opinions. Express quoted 600-800 but I really appreciated how genuine the owner was about the work scope, so we had them take a look. it ended up being 780 plus tax so 835, which is outside of the quote but not unreasonable. and obviously 50% cheaper than the first company. These people seem trustworthy and I would recommend them.

If my husband were still alive to advise me, I would have used a credit card. I would have asked…read morefor a written guarantee. I would have asked for pictures. But I was cold! And the company, Express Refrigeration Heating and Air, had great reviews! They offered to install a new part for my non-working gravity heater the next day at $3,700.00 and orally guaranteed it for 10 years with the promise of a fix for two years after the installation if anything went wrong. Shivering, I happily accepted the word of the technician. I am repenting in leisure. When the work was done, and the technician, Zack, told me that, if I wrote a good review on Yelp, they would pay me $25.00----in the form of a gift certificate to eBay, Amazon or an online company of my choice---I got a different idea about all those great reviews. The heater stopped working 6 months later. Fishing out the invoice, I saw there was no written proof of a guarantee. I took the tech at his word and hadn't checked. Again, I was cold! When, after many calls and an email, David dispatched a second tech from Express to assess the problem, he told me that water was dripping on the new part and that the water had ruined it. He charged me $80.00 for coming out, saying the failure was my fault. None of this was written down. The technician said he could get me another part for $3,700 or install a different heating system for $15,000. Either way, he said, the $80 would be applied. Now the nickel drops. The dawn breaks, and I hire an inspector to tell me whether there is a leaking pipe that I need to repair. The inspector told me there was nothing leaking on the new part, in fact there were no water pipes anywhere near the furnace, only gas pipes. He also said that the technician had installed a red bypass wire, a temporary fix at best. So this review. To alert others. 1. Ask for a written guarantee. 2. Use a credit card so you have recourse. 3. Read the invoice before you sign. 4. Ask to see a photo of the area. 5. Do the opposite of what I did. I'm still cold. P.S. to Cassandra, business mananger, who left a note after this review. This is not a mistake. My invoice number is 4623 and I saw Zack on November 4, 2024. I saw the second technician May 30, 2025. I am happy to talk to you. My phone number and private name is on the invoice. If you are unable to find the invoice, send me your email and I will quickly email it to you.

Miguel was outstanding in answering all our questions and adding additional information that other vendors did not. I also want to thank Brianna for being friendly and attentive to my questions and to Lee for confirming our needs (as we requested several options) that would be right for us personally. But I especially want to thank Stephanie and Christian who installed our new unit. I was afraid our Aussie would be a bother but 5 minutes later he just laid there and watch even as they went in and out of the house. He tool to Stephanie really quickly. But what really stood out is that my son must have asked a hundred questions as he watched them work and they patiently answered each one. You made his day. I greatly appreciate them both for that. Thank you.

Pioneers Heating & Air is truly the BEST!…read more Our A/C broke down in August, right in the middle of the brutal summer heat, and it was honestly miserable. We had reached out to several different companies trying to get it fixed, but between poor communication, delays, and appointments being rescheduled two or three times, we ended up living without proper A/C for almost a month. Then my wife came across Pioneers Heating & Air on Yelp and noticed how great their reviews were, so she decided to use the "Get Pricing" option. Within just a few minutes, they called her. That alone was already such a refreshing change after everything we had been dealing with. They were responsive, quick, easy to communicate with, and were able to schedule a visit for the very next day. And then came Elad. He showed up, quickly figured out what was going on, and somehow managed to get everything fixed in what felt like no time at all. After almost a month of frustration, suddenly we had cold air again! Elad was absolutely amazing. He was flexible with the situation, made quick and confident decisions, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He told us that a lot of it comes from experience -- and you can definitely tell. On top of that, he stayed friendly, patient, and positive from beginning to end. I honestly don't know how many times I told him, "You're Superman!" and "You're our hero!" But at that moment, that's exactly how we felt. Thank you so much, Elad, and thank you Pioneers Heating & Air. Because of you, our home is finally cool and comfortable again. I truly hope your business continues to grow and succeed. You deserve it. Thank you for giving us our cool summer back!
