I placed a delivery order through Yelp. Local MRKT also has grocery items on the same order form. I didn't get any of those, but it could come in handy. The food arrived in 30-40 minutes, matching the estimate on Yelp. Plenty of napkins and condiments. The Local MRKT burger: lots of different flavors. Cooked to the right temp. It's kind of impressive that they let you choose a temp for an $11 dollar burger/fries. Fries are thick-cut, seasoning on the side. Packed in a waxy cardboard box, inside a paper bag. Probably very environment-friendly if you care about that. read more

Don't bother making a reservation because they do not honor it. Staff was nice but made a reservation and waited 15 minutes only not to get a table. Ended up leaving because we were hungry and didn't want to wait anymore. Very disappointing because we really wanted to try it out. read more

SO happy that there's finally a panini and wrap spot in the neighborhood! My husband and I have already come by twice. Delicious coffee with non-dairy options available (oatmilk, almond milk). Was working in the area and stopped in this spot for lunch. Place looked trendy and the staff was friendly. I couldn't decide on what to get so the owner offered to make me a chop cheese. Nothing says New York like a chop cheese, for something this good u have to drive to a bodega in the Bronx or Harlem where the cats sit on the chips and the bachata music is on full blast. The good is ok. Decent. Nothing that will blow your mind. The few times I've ordered breakfast from them from DoorDash, I have ordered bagels with spreads. We don't like our bagels toasted. Each time we have waited over an hour for them to slap on some butter or cream cheese on bagels. They don't even have to cook anything. I am currently waiting for an order from them, because each time I believe I'll have a better experience with them. I call the driver and he says he's been there just waiting for 3 bagels, a coffee and a Tropicana bottle to be ready. We ordered at 8am and it is past 9am for food that doesn't even have to be cooked. Never again. read more

I love local businesses. I'm glad to see this place open up in the midst of a pandemic. It shows hope to other small business owners. Besides that, this place is pretty cool. The cold brew is awesome and the service was top notch. I had one of their wraps and that was also awesome. I hope to see other folks in the neighborhood support this place. I came here for a late breakfast over the weekend. I got an egg and cheese on a bagel with an iced coffee. It was okay. The bagel was pretty flat for NY standards and burnt near the edges. The service was fairly quick. Since I'm a vegetarian, there are limited options at this spot for me. I learned my lesson and will go to a bagel spot next time. My partner got a breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. He said it was good, 7.5/10. In regards to ambiance, we also noticed that there were empty frames on the wall - maybe they're redecorating? However, the beer selection is very good, and that's probably what I'd come back for rather than the food. read more

I don't know how I found myself in this obscure part of Queens (working a couple of miles away) but I'm very glad I did. I was in search of a sandwich and this place popped up on Yelp. I hazarded the trip (absolutely beautiful neighborhood btw,) and found myself with excellent parking (if I can't find a spot, I will leave, grudgingly so.) Um...hubby and I decided to give it a try. I got waffles and scrambled eggs - waffles tasted sour. Eggs were green. He got French toast and a chicken sandwich. French toast tasted funny and he just couldn't stomach the chicken sandwich. I don't know if we caught them at a bad day / time but my stomach feels like it's doing flips and I don't feel good at all. Don't think I'll be trying them out again. Sorry! read more

This place just opened up a few months ago during the pandemic. It looks like a deli from the outside but it's such a good foodie spot! We got the Belgian waffle with cinnamon butter and the baconeggandcheese empanadas. Everything was delicious. The waffle was cinnamony and fluffy and a MUST HAVE (especially for $6). The bec empanadas were also delicious and very fresh- a great breakfast. The owner was very nice and welcoming of feedback. They also wear masks and the store was very clean. we will definitely be back to try their sandwiches and other foods :)) read more

I waited way too long to try Local MRKT for lunch. Now I order multiple times a week. It's very obvious when restaurants care about the food they serve and The Local MRKT definitely does. Fresh, quality ingredients that are cooked well and delivered fast. I can't remember what it was they once called me about being out of stock on my order but I know it was something that most other places would just sub or just not even include. The fact they called to offer a couple options makes it obvious they care about their customers. Great deli, great food, great service. read more

The best thing about this place is their staff. Everyone here is so friendly and passionate about their product. It makes it easy to spend a few hours here just relaxing.

Dearest denizens of discerning drinks, In a landscape littered with lagers, ales, and those sweet nectarine brews that we all long for on an idle Wednesday evening (or is that just me?), this establishment stands tall, glistening like the froth atop a freshly poured pint. It's the oasis for the thirsty traveler with a penchant for the truly local, the authentic, the artisanal! Indeed, their beer selection is like the Louvre - if the Louvre was filled with hop-laden masterpieces, all from our best neighborhood breweries. Every sip is a chorus of liquid legends, proclaiming: "Drink me, for I am the soul of this fine city!" Now, as for the food, I've yet to dive deep into the menu's vast offerings. But I'll tell you this, if their culinary delights are anywhere close to their beer prowess, I'm about to embark on a gastronomic odyssey worthy of its own epic tale. Stay tuned. However, a word of caution to the guardians of this glorious taproom: be on the lookout for a local yokel with a bloated resemblance to Billy Squier (remember him? If not, Google's your friend, see below). This fellow, thinking he's the Rex Reed of Yelp, has been peddling(cause he can no longer drive, I hope) his unsolicited opinions around town. Now, I'd be the last to begrudge a man his drink, but rumor has it he's recently escaped the clutches of the Florida legal system, sporting a brand new DUI badge of dishonor. For the love of hops, do not - I repeat, DO NOT - give him a beer. Just point him to the exit and suggest he mounts his trusty scooter, lest he ventures on the roads and graces the headlines once more.
