Had these delivered to our home. This is what I got: - 2 Chocolate Chip (both semi-sweet - 1 Ginger snap - 1 Chocolate sandwich Over they were good. What I really like about local cookie co is that their cookies are no overly sweet like many other of these cookie places. The chocolate chip has a really good cinnamon aftertaste. Ginger snap had a nice strong gingery flavor. The chocolate sandwich tastes almost like an Oreo cookie. Will try them again next time I have a cookie craving.
Great customer service! My favorite new cookie place since Crave took away their stores in Herriman and Sandy. The S'more is delicious!!

I've been around here a time or two over the past few months. I like supporting them versus the big chain cookie shops. Along with cookies they offer ice cream options and mixed sodas too which is great! The employees have usually been nice, once I went about 45 min before close and the worker was less than happy to be there. I can understand that though. Sometimes there is a line, but there's usually only one or two people there. I think they usually have music playing, but not at all loud. I was hesitant about the one with the apple on top and I did ask if there was another option because it appeared to be over cooked a bit, since they are done in batches they all looked the same. It was more crunchy on the outside than I usually like, but the inside was soft and a delicious flavor. The cheesecake ones with the jam are my favorite flavor they have offered. The chocolate sandwich cookie is also a very good classic that is offered all of the time as long as the weekly changing flavors. We usually like to come by after a Costco trip.
Such a cute local cookie shop with the friendliest workers! Because it was our first visit they offered us a drink or cookie on the house. I picked a drink since we've never tried the flavor combos Utah is known for. Since we already had cookies we didn't want anything too sweet so we picked one of the waters which was nice, fruity and light. The cookies were delicious but a bit hard compared to other places and a tad on the sweet side. Good flavors overall and the customer service alone makes me want to return to satisfy that sweet tooth.
Local cookie has the largest selection of any cookie establishment in Utah excluding RubySnap and this place is so much closer. Great customer service with a smile, I asked about ingredients and they use real butter and avoid food coloring and preservatives. Can't wait to frequent this place more!
We arrived just as they were getting ready to open the doors. The owners were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. They were thorough with their explanation of each of the cookies and gave us the option to pick 4 of our favorites. They all looked so good, it was hard to narrow it down to just 4. We chose the Oatmeal Sandwich Cookie, the Cinnamon Coffee Cake Crumble, the Mint Chocolate, and the Peanut Butter Chocolate. They were all so yummy and we had to hold back on eating them all in one sitting!
Attention all you cookie addicts! There's a new dealer in town, and this one has the good stuff. If you're not already an addict, watch yourself, because you very easily could become one. Last night, my wife and I strolled in for an after-dinner treat and found more than we had anticipated. We were cheerfully greeted by who we later learned to be Todd, the owner. He was warm and welcoming and gave us the run down of the classic choices as well as the weekly specials. We ended up taking home six different cookies-it was hard to just pick a couple. There are two chocolate chip options-milk chocolate and semi sweet. Todd explained that most people think they will prefer the milk chocolate, but it's the semi-sweet that keep people coming back. I tried them both, and, well....I ate them both happily. The flavor of each of them was great-I don't know that I have a preference on one over the other in regards to taste. But the texture of the milk chocolate cookie was more appealing to me. I'm not sure if other ingredients vary beyond the chocolate chip itself, but something was different. The sugar cookie is a robust beast with a buttercream frosting-without almond flavoring. Todd told us that they prefer to stick with the traditional frosting since so many other bakeries are doing the almond. I agree, it can be a bit over done. The cookie sandwich is a behemoth. It's two massive chocolate cookies flanking a cream cheese frosting. If you've got a chocolate craving, this guy will satisfy it. I'd love to report on the s'mores cookie, but that one was devoured in the car before we got home...I'm told that it is rich and sm'orgasmic. Based on the sounds I was hearing while it was being consumed, I'll believe that to be true. I'm thrilled to support this great local business. Stop by and talk to the owners and learn their story-it was born by their daughter's amazing success at bake sales. See kids? That hard work and perseverance can pay off!
Cookies, Cookies, Cookies, and more Cookies. These cookies are HUGE, and well worth the money. This is a local family run cookie shop hence the name "Local Cookie". All cookies are made on site and because the store has an open air floor plan you can actually see the cookies being made. Fresh out of the oven.. you just can't beat the fresh gooey taste of a warm chocolate chip cookie. Flavors change occasionally. Fantastic customer service with a smile. Staff was wearing masks and gloves and require you to wear masks entering the store. One draw back there is no place to sit down. You will just pick up your order, and take it with you. Cookies on the go.....
First time in this business today. Our neighbor gave us a cookie a few months ago and it was great but we hadn't been in yet. It's in the same parking lot as Walmart. Just north of Burger King. Plenty of parking. No seating inside. Staff was very friendly. We ordered a 4 pack ($10) and they have us a free cookie since it was our first time. Very delicious. Cookie butter was my fave. Very soft And fresh in fact kind of hard to handle bc they were so soft.
New place close to home for my favorite thing: COOKIES!! Friendly staff, convenient location, quick in and out. Got a 4 pack: oatmeal cream pie, semi sweet chocolate chip, strawberry cheesecake and cinnamon crumb cake. All were great! Really love a good oatmeal cookie and they did that perfectly for the cream pie. Was told they always have: milk choc chip, semi sweet choc chip, frosted sugar, and their version of an Oreo! Then they tend to have 4-6 other flavors as well! Great selections. I actually prefer their cheesecake cookie over other known chains as it's not that tooth painfully sweet like other companies do. It was just the right amount of sweet and a better classic cookie base to all the ones I've tried so far. I will be back!
Decent cookies! Went here on a whim and decided to get a 4 pack of cookies. Restaurant was clean and the inside smelt great, so great start and very enticing. We ordered the milk chocolate, frosted, cookie butter, and the chocolate sandwich. All were very good and above average compared to other cookie places. The chocolate chip cookie was decent, but our favorite of the four was the cookie butter. Really sweet but the flavoring was very good. Recommend checking this place out if you are a cookie lover!
Have been wanting to try this place for a while and so glad I did! It smells heavenly when you walk in. It looks like they have a lot of drink selections -but we just got cookies. They had about 10 different cookies types available, including some seasonal ones like egg nog. You can buy individual or 6 or a dozen (or more). We were helped immediately, staff was friendly and helpful being our first time in. We got a dozen cookies and they gave us a free one since it was our fist time in! Then while we were waiting for our cookies, the manager or maybe owner came and was talking with us and when he heard it was my daughter's birthday gave us another free birthday cookie! The cookies themselves so so good! Great flavor, cooked perfectly. Definitely will be purchasing from this locally created and owned store again.
Came here on a whim so it was my first time here. They have weekly special cookies. I ended up getting on called the magic- which had like graham crackers, chocolate and Carmel with some sweet drizzle. It was delicious. A single cookie itself is a good size. Overall I enjoyed the flavor of the cookie, it was soft and sweet but not too overpowering. The graham cracker component added a little crunch to the cookie which I really liked. read more
I love this place! Such a cute, local soda and cookie shop. The owners and staff are always so kind and friendly. They have amazing cookies, this time I tried the PB overload. I was sure tempted by the Oreo cookie sandwich(my usual fav) and cute St. Pattys Day cookie though. And the soda always hits the spot! Tons of flavors and drinks to choose from. I am obsessed. Gosh, I don't even know how to put into the words my feelings actually. Five stars no doubt, 110% actually met my expectations. Yum yum yum! My family is kinda cookie snobs. We love to eat and critique. The texture was on point for every type of cookie! I love that the sugar cookie was chewy. It's not your regular at every cookie shop soft cookie. They are extra amazing. The Oreo is another favorite of ours is the Oreo, it was so soft with the perfect amount of sweetness. I can't wait to try that one again and to see what new flavors they have for next week. read more
Short story: The cookies are rich, small batch made, and baked fresh day. They are not mass produced, which means that there will be variation. The cookies are more on the dense side, making them rich and chewy as opposed to fluffy/light and crumbly.* The cookies are massive, so even though they're "pricy" you get an amazing quality and quantity for the price paid. They deliver for a fee, cater and do events, and take orders. Longer story: They have anywhere from 8-10 flavors of cookies on a daily basis. They will never sell day old cookies, FYI. So you will always be getting fresh made cookies. This is a mom and pop business, which is why they went with the logo and name they did. They regularly donate cookies to various local causes and are active in the community. They ask for flavor input and are active on social media platforms. *Yes, you'll want to compare them to Crumbl - but please don't!! Local is not a franchise or chain. It is owned by two long time Utah residents who loved baking and transitioned away from real estate to opening this store after they kept getting requests to make cookies for various events. Nutella on top and nutella in the middle now that's my kind of cookie. Soft and chewy! I tried a few others but this was definitely my favorite. The workers are so helpful and friendly (even with my indecisiveness). I went as part of an event they put on for Yelp Elite members so I know they made a few more Cookies then usual. But even without the extras they have way more options to chose from than other cookie competitors. I will be honest and say I did not like the sugar cookie. I'm a big fan of another cookie competitors sugar cookie and was hoping this would blow me away. read more

Holy moley this cookie shop is amazing! Their milk chocolate chip and sugar cookie both tasted great! The chocolate chip was served warm and the sugar was chilled which made them even better. But by far the best cookie I had was the chocolate sandwich cookie. I dare say it is the best cookie I've ever had! It was absolutely delicious! The chocolate cookie was soft and the cream cheese frosting inside was incredible. Unlike other cookie shops this place also serves soda! No more having to make 2 stops to get your favorite treats! I'm running out of adjectives to describe how great this place is! It's probably a good thing it's not on my usual route or that could be a problem. You just need to try it for yourself! read more
2nd Time in was a wonderful experience, Phenomenal customer service I mainly came in for the Cookies and Creme one of their flavors of the week, and it didn't dissapoint! The employees are so friendly! They were so helpful and appreciative! They offered a sticker to my child and took time to have a cute conversation with her. These cookies are outstanding! They are soft, and insanely flavorful. I'm pretty sure I found my new favorite cookie shop. We tried strawberry cheesecake, chocolate sandwich cookie, oatmeal sandwich cookie, nutella, milk chocolate chip, cinnamon coffee cake and chocolate peanut butter. With cookies this delicious and service so great, I will by pass other cookie shops and make the drive here to soothe my craving. Thanks for being amazing! read more

So... I'm a cookie fan, but not one of the sugar addicts we have in Utah. The place is VERY welcoming , clean as can be, and I LOVED the presentation that they had when I arrived. I'm not into very sweet cookies, or the overly chewy kinds. This is a matter of preference. Hence my 4 star rating. But if you are into sweeter cookies (like their competition) and chewy ones.. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I found them less sweet than the competition and just as flavorful. The taste was very good, and it gave me the right energy sugar rush that you need during a mid day work day. I would come back and get another of the dark chocolate (less sweet, as they call it) cookie. So, please maybe make more variety of those kinds :) read more

My husband is a cookie fanatic. He is a little obsessed with finding the best cookies. He loves chick-fil-a, Rockwell, and now Local cookie company. He rode his bike to all the cookie places (dork) and then made the whole family do a blind taste test. Everyone chose Locals oatmeal chocolate chip as #1. Not even a debate. He said they are super nice, clean, and have great hours too. Good news for me, now I can stop trying to perfect the chocolate cookie, looks like someone else already has! read more

The strawberry cheesecake is to die for, one of my favorite cookie hands down! However, I wasn't a big fan of the rest of the cookies. The Nutella was decent and I expected a better milk chocolate chip cookie, but I think I'm just more of a gooey type when it comes to your average chocolate chip. I'll have to try more cookies and come back for an updated review! read more
