Closed refinance loan…read more Roman who is the owner of Superior Funding Corporation was exceptional. Efficient, professional, quick, upfront and honest. He was able to offer very competitive refinance rates (and I shopped around quite a bit), he and his team did a fabulous job in completing the application, documentation, working with the title and lender to complete the process quickly and efficiently. His attorney came to my house to do the closing which was extremely convenient for me. I've already recommended Roman to my friend for a new mortgage.

I found SFC via Upfront Mortgage Brokers search and I am very happy I chose them for my real estate…read morepurchase. Since the rates for a given loan vary very little from bank to bank - choosing a correct person to deal with is of utmost importance in assuring getting a good deal and that securing property financing is successful. Using a mortgage broker provided us with flexibility to go with the best combination of financial institutions appropriate in our circumstances. Roman Shulman was absolutely outstanding every step of the process, he always returned emails and calls in a timely manner and was great to communicate with. His professionalism and proactive approach allows us to get a great rate for our loan. Roman has excellent understanding of all the documentation needed at various stages and with his help our financing went very smoothly without any unpleasant surprises. I would definitely and enthusiastically recommend SFC to anyone looking to buy property, I really enjoyed working with them.

My counselor is extremely helpful, quick to respond, and great at communicating. I'm looking forward to becoming a homeowner one day, but only by doing it the right way and making sure I live within my means. The NACA program ensures I own a home the right way! I highly recommend this program!

Extremely disappointing experience -- accountability matters…read more Our experience with NACA has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We entered the program in good faith, followed the instructions provided to us, and relied on information given directly by NACA's team while navigating the home-buying process. Unfortunately, we later discovered that information we were given was incorrect. This was not an error on our part. We followed the guidance provided by NACA, and we are now dealing with the consequences of information that their team gave us. Mistakes can happen. What matters is how an organization responds when its mistake has a real impact on the people who trusted them. We reached out to management directly to explain what happened, request accountability, and ask for a fair resolution. Our initial email went unanswered. We subsequently followed up because we should not have to repeatedly chase an organization for a response regarding an issue caused by its own team. That is what has been most disappointing about this experience. When you're dealing with something as significant as purchasing a home, you need accurate information, clear communication, and accountability. If your team provides incorrect guidance, the customer should not be left holding the bag. We are intentionally not putting every detail of the situation in a public review because we are still attempting to resolve the matter directly and professionally. However, prospective NACA participants should absolutely be aware of our experience. My advice: document every conversation, get important information in writing, ask questions when something doesn't seem clear, and do not assume that information provided verbally is accurate without verifying it. We sincerely hope NACA chooses to take responsibility, address the consequences of its error, and provide us with a fair resolution. Right now, however, we feel let down by an organization we trusted during one of the most important financial decisions of our lives.

I was so extremely…read morefortunate to be able to work with her for a long period of time during my house hunting process. She is the type of professional that goes above and beyond with profound experience as well as a cheerful attitude. She is a dream to work with. I started my house hunting with looking for a reliable and efficient lender. I first went to my bank. And soon realized how inefficient, confusing, inflexible their process was. One example, it took me 10 minutes to call in to connect with my bank's mortgage department. Another example, my request was left alone for 2 weeks when my bank's lending officer was on vacation. Such lack of speed will not help with the ever-fleeting real estate transactions in the New York market for sure. I was wondering what other choices could I have? Fortunately, I got to know Michelle as a referral from a friend. Michelle made a difference from the first call. She is extremely knowledgeable about the industry, ins and outs, within and beyond mortgage lending. She is very responsive and took time to explain every single detail I need to know at each stage. Exactly what I needed because buying a house in New York City is complex. She is always friendly, pleasant, cheerful, and confident. Both her valuable expertise and positive attitude helped anchor the arduous buying process. Michelle is trustworthy and demonstrated the highest integrity during the entire process. At very turn of the challenges, she showed incredible resourcefulness because of her vast and in-depth experience in the industry. I will come back to Michelle again and again and highly recommend her and her team to everyone thinking about buying a piece of real estate.
