In all of my experiences with him, Andrew was very, very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and intentional about giving me the facts so that I myself could make an informed decision. He would offer multiple approaches and points of view and was clear that, ultimately, I was in the driver's seat and had the final decision. After interviewing other JP relators, I decided to go with BJ because I was impressed with his depth of understanding of the JP market and the sophistication of his reasoning around timing, pricing, and bidding. Throughout the process I was impressed with the team's coordination, especially Beth, the Director of Operations. The listing/sale process was clearly explained and smooth. BJ and team coordinated the staging, smoke detector inspection, three visits by handymen to address last minute items, and the legal aspects with the attorney they work with. BJ was right on with his pricing and I accepted a final offer a few percentage points above our listing price! I give Boston Home Team my strongest endorsement!

We worked primarily with Meredith and BJ (with Meredith leading) and not only are they an absolutely stellar team, they are also the kindest, most fun humans to work with. It made what should have been a super stressful experience actually pretty fun. Before getting to know them, two aspects of their business really stood out to us (we met with multiple agents before choosing Boston Home Team): their incredible listing services - especially the photos/videos they provide (I am especially fussy about this as a full-time professional photographer myself) - and the fact that they come in and spend a good chunk of time working with the homeowner on the staging aspect. This ended up being my favorite part of the experience - working with Meredith to make our home look its absolute best. She has phenomenal taste and also offers additional items to fill gaps where needed. My husband thought it was all a bit silly ... until we closed at over 30% over asking price. ;) What we didn't realize in advance was just how much time and effort they would put into marketing our home. They work their social media hard, and the eventual buyer found our home through Facebook ads (they hadn't even been looking in our town). Their communications throughout were top-notch and I felt comfortable reaching out multiple times with silly questions and thoughts, and they were always so encouraging and enthusiastic in their responses. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are SO grateful that our realtor friend who is no longer in the Boston area was able to recommend them to us.

Jim is an experienced realtor in this arena and worked with me over many months to get this condo to sell. When it looked like the bank wasn't going to accept the buyer's offer, I made the decision to pull the condo out of the short sale and make up the difference. Jim was there, every step of the way - his patience and expertise were a real plus (I'm not always the easiest person to deal with). His response time to questions is phenomenal - often answered texts within a few minutes, and would always let me know his availability - never left me hanging. Buying/selling a house can be very stressful, but Jim is so on top of the market, he made it a positive experience for me. End result - the condo sold. Thanks Jim!

This wasn't my first time securing a loan so I had a level of expecation wiith how everything was going to go. However, I did not anticipate the circumstance I found myself in. After searching online and reading reviews, I decided to call Rob to explore if I had any options available. Though I already had a locked rate with another lender, he was very understanding and walked me through various scenarios of what I could do. Rob also went digging to find alternative lending options to improve upon my current rate and closing costs...which he amazingly did improving my rate by .25 points. He recommended that I go back to my current lender and see if they'd be willing to match. I had already expressed my interest on finding an alternative lending option but he knew how far along I was with the underwriting process and was looking out for my best interest (though I had pretty much decided in my mind to eat the sunk costs I had with my current lender with the main application, deposit, etc knowing that is make it up in the long term with the adjusted rate). I took Rob's recommendations and went back to my current lender and surprisingly they matched the rate to what Rob quoted even though I had already locked in. In the end, I decided to stay with my current lender because of logistical purposes. However, my experience with Rob was tremendous. I'm truly grateful for the amount of time he spent talking with me, his attention to my issues and recommendations. I wish I had found him before I went the big bank route. It would have made my life so much easier and less stressful. Should I be in the market for another property and securing a loan, I will absolutely reach out to Rob.

The bot asked me for a phone number and a time to call. I gave it this morning at 9am. No one called. So I emailed and asked if a human, not a chatbot, could reschedule. Apparently Rob replied and apologised and asked me for several times today to talk. I told him 11am was open, and he confirmed he would call at 11am. He also took my phone number again (I guess his chatbot didn't actually record it, so beware if you use that system). 11am rolls around, no call. After ten minutes I email again asking if anyone was going to call, no response. Been 30 minutes, and I think this is a pretty poor sign. I'll be working with other mortgage brokers moving forward. I'm flexible on my schedule, but to not even attempt to contact your potential customer to let them know you can't call? Why bother scheduling in the first place? Wasting someone's time is about the worst first look you can do. Doing it twice in a row on the same morning? Not great.

After I placed an offer that met the asking price, she came back and said, actually, no it's $2200 (+broker's fee, plus utilities). I then asked if utilities might then be included. Then she continued to rudely communicate via email basically saying I don't know what I'm talking about. Beware if you're using Penrose Realty as your broker to list apartments. They'll treat prospective tenants like trash and you'll lose prospective renters. And buyers/renters, work with someone else; these people are only after their broker's fee and don't deserve your business.
