I wish I read the reviews before wasting our time. Very poor customer service from Kristy. It's difficult to get a hold of her or to get your calls returned. Very disappointing. I do not recommend. We're taking our business someplace else. It's so unfortunate. The company doesn't seem to realize the impact their poor service has. Especially for first time buyers like us. This is the Third time they have called to update my file.I have already told them to take me off of their list and do not call me again After explaining the horrible experience I had with them. Kristy Gannon the loan officer gave out all my personal information to the seller. The seller backed out of the sale. Tried to withhold my 1500$ deposit. I had to take her to court where she revealed that she was also a realtor and Kristy Gannon had given her my personal information and told her that she did not feel like I would be able to close. when I had already been pre-qualified. After 9 months the court ruled in my favor and I was able to get my deposit back. Such a bad experience!!!! Wish I hAd never went through this Company!!!! read more

They kept pushing my loan to different agents. Kept asking for same documents over, then they asked me for documents that did not pertain to me. They wanted child support, but I don't have any children. They claimed they made several attempts to contacting me, but they only e-mailed me once in a two week period. At the end they could not make my refinancing, but it took them over four months to let me know. read more

My wife and I were looking to buy our first home and we found a great realtor that we really liked. We had a great experience with our realtor and she suggested we use the company Loan Depot for my wife to apply for the loan. The first time we met Daniel S. (who was the loan officer at loan depot) he was late to our meeting and when he did come, he was on the phone with someone else for 10 minutes. It was unprofessional and made us feel not very important. It wasn't a deal breaker, plus he was highly suggested from our realtor. He did a fairly good job explaining the different types of loans and all the odds and ends of buying your first house. After meeting with Daniel, we wanted to get a quote from a different mortgage company, just to compare the two. We ended up really liking the other loan company and they were offering us a cheaper interest rate and they guaranteed the loan would stay with them for the life of the loan This was very important to us. We liked the cheaper interest rate, which meant we would spend less on the total loan, and we also wanted the loan to stay with the same company throughout the duration of the loan. We have friends and family who are constantly getting letters from different banks alerting them they are the new owner of the loan, and they never knew who to call for questions. We called Daniel back and explained to him that we liked the cheaper interest rate, and the idea that the loan would stay with the same company for the life of the loan. Daniel was able to work some things out and got us the interest rate and payment that was close to the other lender. He also promised us that he would be our point of contact for the loan, and even if it got sold, we would still send payments to him and could ask him any questions. Since our realtor works with Daniel the most, we felt it would be easiest on her and things would go smoother if we went with Loan Depot. Daniel was a great talker. He made it seem like he was always on top of everything. We were knew home buyers and were excited when our realtor called us and said that we would be closing on the house and we could get the keys on Thursday. I called Daniel the week before and just made sure everything was ready to go and in place so things could go smoothly. My wife's family and I took Thursday off of work, and were looking forward to closing on Thursday. Thursday afternoon is here and still haven't heard anything, so I call the Title company and find out that our loan company did not submit the document in time. It was supposed to be submitted 48 hours ahead of close and it wasn't. The title company was already to go and Escrow was going to close, the loan company didn't move the money on time. In the grand scheme of things, I know that this happens all the time, but it could have been prevented, and he didn't really show any compassion for us using the vacation day at work. It all came down to the fact that if he would have sent over the paperwork when he was supposed to, we would have been in the house on Thursday. Here is the kicker- less than 2 months after we close, we get a statement from Wells Fargo saying Loan Depot sold them the loan. Loan depot sent us basically a cease and desist letter, (ok not really, but almost) saying that we weren't to issue them any more payments or contact them regarding our account anymore, because it was sold. Daniel, who promised us that our loan would stay with him, was no longer around. He said all the right things to make sure he got his commission check, but as soon as he got it, he forgot what he promised us. I received a call from Loan Depot last week and asked them to remove my name from their list. Today I have received several calls from them. I tried to return the call but the number wouldn't let me in. I made it very clear that I did not want to hear from them again when they called last week. Makes you wonder what's goin on, doesn't it? I am very glad I do now have to have any financial dealings with a company that cannot understand a clearly stated, in English, request. read more

Not only did we close on time, we closed 4 days early! He also closed on my client's purchase before 30 days, something uncommon during this busy buying season. He truly places his heart and soul for the benefit of his clients. He has so many great qualities: courteous, understanding, enthusiastic, energetic, pro-active, trustworthy, an excellent communicator, explains everything thoroughly, if he is unsure of something he finds the answer. We bought our first home using imortgage. We started the process in the beginning of January and didn't close until the end of April. The only reason we continued through the process with them was because our builder offered to pay closing cost if we got our mortgage through them. Our application sat on someone's desk for two and a half months. Each time we called for an status update we were told that it was going to a processor in a couple days and we should have our approval within a week. Each time it was a lie. The truth is, our file was collecting dust on someone's desk. My wife whom was nine months pregnant at the time and I had to re-do the application twice because it was only good for 30 days. Then, before it was finally approved, we were told that someone had been reading the wrong credit score. If we had not lock in our rate already, we would have been paying more! On top of that, the taxes were entered for the wrong locale and we almost paid $200 more a month. When we started the process we told them we were at the end of our lease and needed to be in our new home because a month-to-month lease would cost us an additional $250 per month AND my wife was due to give birth soon. Because of the time, we chose a house that was just about completed and similar to what we would have chosen ourselves. Needless to say, we had to do a month-to-month lease and move into our new home while my wife was recovering for delivering. With all the lies and delay, we could have had our house built exactly the way we wanted it. The only reason our file was ever "found" and approved was because the builder told imortgage that if they didn't get the loan approved and a closing date, they were going to refund our deposit and walk away from the deal which would have left us with months of wasted time, more excess money spent, and without a new home. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. Whatever you do DO NOT GO THROUGH Kristy Gannon at imortgage/loan depot!!!! They screwed up our loan and taxes so badly and did absolutely NOTHING about it. We told them we didnt want to go over our budget and in the end we went over it by $210 because of the final processors error that we weren't even aware of until our tax bill came in the mail (4 months later) because we were relying on them to put our loan together correctly. Kristy Gannon is responsible for her negligence because I guarentee you if she would have looked over the contract before we signed it, she would have questioned why our mortgage mysteriously dropped the same day we signed for it. This was news to her making it very clear that she didnt look it over before and then she just blamed it all on her processor. I've been fighting with this company for 2 months and they don't believe they did anything wrong. It's outrageous! They are HORRIBLE lenders!!!! Please stay away! read more
