Then a man in plain clothes, driving a silver minivan with no security lights or identification, pulled up on me. No uniform, no badge, nothing to suggest he was official. He said, "I need you to get out of here," with zero courtesy. There were no "please," and no "thank you" when I agreed I would leave. Just a blunt command from someone who looked like any other civilian. I wasn't alarmed by it personally, but someone else easily could've been. That's not how you treat another human being, and it's unacceptable for Costco to hire staff to have that type of attitude as the face of their business. As a queer POC unfamiliar with this city, the entire encounter felt discriminatory and unwelcoming. I'm not trying to make this political, but that kind of behavior speaks volumes. If this is how Costco chooses to represent itself after hours, I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone who values safety, respect, or basic decency.

The owner could have charged me hundreds of dollars and I would have paid it...I had no idea what was wrong or how long it took to repair...but the owner is so honest - he charged me what it cost him to repair it and not a cent more. I wonder if the one star reviewer had the right business when they wrote the review. I have never, ever heard a negative word about College Exxon in 20 years. Anyhow - they have five stars with me!

I am appalled by the lack of respect shown to my partner today. As we all know there is currently…read morean order requiring a face covering in public (because of COVID-19). Unfortunately, I removed his mask from his car (accidentally) when bringing in the groceries, so by no fault of his own he was left without a traditional face covering when he ran to the this gas station. In an attempt to remain safe and responsible, and with the utmost respect for the current directive, he covered his face with the only thing he could, his shirt. He was careful to adhere to social distancing recommendations, and quickly ran in to grab his beverage. Not only was he refused service, he was treated horrifically by the cashier. The regulation in Montana defines "Face covering" as a fabric, paper, or disposable face covering that covers the nose and mouth. My partner was in compliance with the directive. It might not have been a traditional face mask, but there was a fabric covering, over his mouth and nose. It is despicable that anyone would be so emboldened, as to think it appropriate to speak to a costumer so disrespectfully. We own a company, and spend $1000's of dollars a month in gas for our trucks. We do so almost entirely at this location. I hope who ever profits from our business reads this- because your rude employee just cost you a loyal and lucrative customer! His behavior is shameful.
