They led us to what was basically a private room (it seemed like all the spaces were private) where the food was already laid out for us. It ranged from various cured meats, cheeses, olives to potatoes and tripe, and lots and lots of wine. It was a heck of a lot even considering there was 10 of us. We stuffed ourselves and the waitresses started clearing our plates...then proceeded to bring out beef stew, then pasta, then ice cream sundaes. Oh sweet lord, we did not realize what we were in for. Price-wise, it was a steal. 7000 ARS for all of us, netting out to about $16 USD per person. The food wasn't particularly memorable but the experience was. The cleaning staff was great and all the rest of the staff were incredible :) We had coffee and breakfast at the restaurant every morning and dinner twice. Restaurant is great and people visit just for that. The ambiance of the property is relaxed and comfortable. The grounds are well kept. The rooms are private and nice. This is a gated hotel with 24 hour monitoring. A good feeling of security. With a very easy checkin, the staff member carried our bags to room 5. Spacious and comfortable. Very well appointed, comfortable bed and an amazing rain shower, shower. A/C and heat are individually controlled. In room safe was also provided. We had a wonderful view of the back area overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. Guests are very respectful of the quiet surroundings. Breakfast is includes with both a choice of continental style as well as some hot selections of egg dishes. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but if breakfast is any indication, it won't disappoint. It's located an easy walk to the town center of Chacras de Coria which has an abundance of shops as tasty restaurants. The staff is eager to help with restaurant recommendations/reservations, taxi calls, wine tours, bicycle rentals with an abundance of bike paths. Lastly but importantly, the staff here is just fantastic. Always helpful and kind. We would like to specifically thank Laura for her helpfulness, kindness, professionalism and hospitality. Fresh strawberries with meringue & lemon sorbet, deconstructed chocolate cake (flourless?) with delicious mascarpone. Obviously the wine list was fantastic, even if not as lengthy as restaurants not tied to one bodega. We had a bottle of the Black Tears from Bodega Tapiz and it was outstanding. For lunch they offered a four course meal with two or three options for each course. My wife and I each chose different option so as to be able to taste twice a many dishes. From start to finish it was exceptional. Not only were the flavor profiles well conceived, the plating and presentation was superb. While not normally a big fan of desserts (I prefer my sugar fermented!), the pineapple carpaccio with marscapone cheese was out of this world. They also make their own olive oil on-site. The service was also extraordinary. It was a delicious yet peaceful meal in a laid back and picturesque atmosphere. If you are touring wineries in the area you should definitely try to get a reservation here for lunch.
