I have used this laundry service quite a few times and let me just say it has been life changing. I feel i have more time in my days my it's so convenient and refreshing. These clothes are washed dried ironed is requested and spell sooooooo good. The only thing is i suggest if you want your clothes back with a good turn around send your clothes out Monday -Wednesday . Maybeeeeeeee Thursday but you might be pushing your luck if you want to back by Saturday . The price is great they always send discount codes that you can use to lower your overall price. I was staying in San Diego for two weeks and decided to send out some every day laundry for wash/dry service. Simple things like leggings, tank tops, sports bras, super casual dresses, nightshirts - all inexpensive clothing. The equivalent of a little under two loads of laundry. Their website price indicates this would cost approximately $54. Imagine my surprise when my items were returned and the total charges were OVER $300!!! Absolutely shocked would be an understatement!! While they did a nice job of putting them on hangers and wrapped everything nicely - it's an insane amount of $$$! 3 pairs of black capri leggings were $15.50 EACH ?? WTH? More than I even paid for them? I called to discuss this because it had to be an error. There was no one available to take my call. I will not recommend this company as they promise to deliver but fail and make up excuses on why they have not delivered my items. It's true you have to chase them to hunt down your items and they never answer the phones. I am so very disappointed with this company. They have a very good concept but lack business acumen. Their total lack of customer service is over the top and non-existent. They NEVER answer the phone as well as NEVER respond to any message either via text, telephone nor email. Even though I had arranged for a pick up every two weeks; THEY ignore the schedule and THEY decide when to pick up or not. They put me on IGNORE Without a pick up two consecutive times. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. This place provides dry cleaning services for my office. I had this jacket and pants dry cleaned. Although the pieces are supposed to be picked up early in the week and returned later the same week, it took about two weeks and two phone calls to get my items back. Once I got them back, and went to wear my jacket, I realized they had somehow damaged the buckle so that it no longer slid into the attachment. Instead, the arms of the buckle were bent. I took it into LNDRY to address the issue. I was told it could be repaired and that I would have them item back the following Wednesday. That Wednesday came and went with no update or jacket. I called repeatedly and finally got a call back notifying me my jacket wasn't fixed yet but that they were still working on it. Another week went by with no further updates. After I called again - repeatedly - I was told they would call me back once they figured out if the buckle could be fixed. I never got a call; instead the jacket was returned to me -- WITH AN INVOICE - and the damaged piece attached. This place is awful. I would not trust them with any clothing. Ever. read more

Didn't follow instructions - put EVERYTHING (including dishtowels) on hangars, delivered a day late, and lost my underwear. Can't get anyone to answer emails or phone. Their work is good - everything is cleaned and pressed - but I didn't WANT my t-shirts pressed and on hangers. Or my jeans. Or my sweatshirt... and lost a couple hundred bucks worth of lingerie, so there's that too. So I'm going back to our old laundry service. If you have extra money to spend and don't know what to spend it on but hate laundry, this service might be for you. For everyone else, it's honestly way too expensive. The $40 bag holds less than 30 lbs and is probably less than 60L capacity. My hamper is 72L so to do a normal month of laundry (which is one hamper) costs $80 because it takes 1.5 bags. The smell isn't great. Smells like cheap soap. I would not recommend to any of my friends. I used the service twice and will not be a returning customer. read more

LNDRY contaminated my family's clothes, sheets, and towels with heavily fragranced detergent, lied about it, and refused to refund our money. I told them when I placed the order we are allergic and they confirmed they would use only unscented detergent. I explicitly said they should cancel the order if for any reason they were unable to accomodate my request. Still, our things came back reeking so badly we had to keep them outside on the porch until we could arrange for another service to pick them up. The washing machines at our apartment building are broken so we were without use of our clothes, sheets, and towels for 6 days. LNDRY also returned our order later than agreed. They promised a 48 hour turn around. On day three, when the order was still not back, I contacted them to ask why and was told they didn't intend to return for 7 days. They did agree to go ahead and bring them back at that point, but of course we couldn't use anything because of the overpowering smell. TLDR: Do not trust LNDRY! They will mishandle your things, lie about it, and refuse to refund your money. Update: After getting the runaround from Samantha the customer service rep for weeks, Jason the owner finally called me. He talked over me, interrupted, and generally acted like a bully. I sent him receipts from the service I used to rewash the laundry, but I still haven't gotten my money back. I talked to him a second time and he made some pretty outrageous arguments including "we should only have to give you a refund if the items are permanently ruined". He also claimed he didn't recieve the receipts I sent multiple times via email AND text. The only silver lining to this nightmare is that it led me to find another service that does the job right and for way less. If I could give less, I would. This service dry cleaned a sweater with a coffee stain on it even though I emailed prior to let them know to look for stains. Other cleaners could handle that stain, unfortunately not my first time spilling coffee. I now have an expensive ruined sweater. I also reached out because I had 3 pieces that needed to be mended, and they claimed you just had to email them to get a quote for mending. No one ever reached out, and I was charged for dry cleaning clothing that did not need that treatment. read more

LEAST reliable laundry service in town! I am a new customer and requested a tote drop off two weeks ago... finally came after I called a few times. Despite my request for them to text or call before the drop off, they proceeded to enter my buildings lobby and ask other tenants for my location. The bag I received is SMALL It can probably only fit half of a traditional laundry basket. Despite all this, I still wanted to try out the service, so I requested a laundry pick up over the weekend. The next available window they had for me was on Wednesday... Keep in mind, this is two weeks after my initial request for service. The bag they supplied me ripped when I tried to close it after I put my laundry in. No one showed up on Wednesday, so I rescheduled for Thursday, and still no one showed up . After two weeks, a bag full of dirty clothes, and a lot of waiting around, I'm canceling my account. I highly recommend that you don't waste your time or money with this company. read more

I hate to give them two stars but I feel like I have to. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. They're punctual and give you an accurate time schedule. The place seems clean, though you can't see the back where the actual cleaning is done. I took a few things there and they ruined the tag on one of my more expensive items by pinching it closed with one of their paper tags, it also came out stained somehow? Tags don't sound important but when it's a silk tag on a $1500 Fleurette coat, you tend to be a little more picky about it. I'm super bummed, it was a really pretty label. It was silky and pristine looking, now it's got a spot, looks rough and crinkled. I think this place is fine for items that aren't really too nice, I would choose somewhere different for your more expensive designer items. read more

LNDRY has come a long way in perfecting their systems and quality.

It's not very often that I need to go to a dryer cleaners but I recently had to drop off a work shirt to be cleaned. LNDRY was the first place to pop up near me on yelp so I thought I'd give them a try. When I came in I also brought in my duvet because I don't trust the laundry mat in my apartment complex to not damage it. After I dropped off items and the next day they called me to pick up my items. I am very pleased with how my work shirt came out because I can never get every wrinkle out. My duvet was fresh and clean too!! I found their turn around time to be quick and the price I paid was reasonable as well. For being local to my complex I know that I will be using LNDRY again if I have any items that need extra care. The people who helped me where friendly too I just can't remember who specifically helped me. read more

I think the original business was purchased and ever since the service has gone downhill! Changed pick up days without notifying, delivered to wrong building and now they are no longer picking/up delivering on a regular schedule to my building...again without notifying us! I was seeking a more affordable option to wash my comforter that doesn't fit in my small washing machine than my typical place in Mission Hills that is much more affordable. This is definitely not more affordable. It's was $35 to wash a comforter that only cost $100. I didn't realize the cost until I left and dropped off a table cloth and runner for work and they were $47. The woman checking me out did give me a price break when she saw how shocked I was. For those prices they can update their pay system to something more modern that the old school swipe that doesn't like certain cards. read more

First time using a laundry service and I was totally impressed with LNDRY. Between juggling with a newborn and a child who I'm schooling from home, laundry is the last on my to do list. I scheduled LNDRY to pick up baby clothes I had stored away. Everything was completely easy to schedule. I scheduled an online pick up and the laundry was picked up from my front porch, contactless pick up and delivery. It was delivered back to my home in two days. The clothes were returned to me washed and nicely folded in a LNDRY bag. I feel spoiled. I never want to wash or fold laundry again!!! We live in Carlsbad, a suburb of San Diego County. We downloaded the LNDRY app under the direction of a friend, and we couldn't be more satisfied with LNDRY's performance thus far. The ability to communicate via their app is unprecedented in the textile ecosystem. It's so easy to order and pick up, track the progress, and arrange for delivery. But it is not just fancy tech. Their exceptional customer service has really stood out to us. A month ago we were preparing to leave town and my Wife realized that the dress she wanted to wear at the resort was out for cleaning with LNDRY. A simple text to LNDRY that Thursday morning resulted in a them expediting our order and then dropping off our order Friday morning just in time for the trip (3 days early). Upon delivery, I asked about why they don't replace the plastic collar stays and they explained it was because most of their clients prefer metal stays. That made sense, and I thought it best to leave it there. Anyhow, upon our return from the resort they made a special trip to drop off a bag of fresh collar stays even though I did not asked them to do so - this displayed an exceptional level of care. I felt valued. Even if their service was not this great, we would still use them. Who the hell wants to drop-off and pickup-up textiles at the dry cleaners? We have eliminated a dreaded chore and LNDRY represents no additional cost to us over our traditional dry cleaner. LNDRY preserves our most valuable asset, time. read more

I was lied to over and over again. 1) Price quoted by phone AND in person AND online was different from their final cost - if you do go here, insist on getting a receipt in advance rather than being surprised at them charging whatever they'd like for the final price. 2) I was quoted a first-time customer discount over the phone which was later changed to being only for hotels/delivery - not what I was originally told. 3) We agreed on a certain day for it to be done, and it was in fact NOT ready on that day - wasted an extra trip for pickup. read more

Not only do they pick up your dry cleaning, they'll drop it off to your door if you like, set you up for auto credit card payments AND provide you with your own drop-off bag. The delivery/sales people are very friendly, helpful, and truly seem to enjoy their job. My clothes came out sparkling clean and I got them in a timely manner. I had quiet a few stains on my white clothes which I was nervous about but thankfully they came back looking brand new! I used Lndry for the first time this week. I was initially very disappointed. I set up my account and got a laundry bag, then I scheduled a pickup and it was confirmed promptly (at 9:30am). Then no one showed up, and I was not contacted. However I was able to contact them the next day and they were very apologetic about the mixup. They sent someone out promptly and they returned the laundry the next day. It was done very professionally (folding and packaging). I was impressed, I'd use them again. read more

Not only did they return the incorrect item to me *twice*, they tried to GASLIGHT me into believing that I didn't know that my duvet had NO PIPING, NO STRIPES, and was, in fact, a QUEEN instead of a KING. THIS IS UNCONSCIONABLE BEHAVIOR by ANY business that CLAIMS to be HONEST. The difference in price for a Queen-sized and King-sized duvet (I looked it up online) is only about $50, so I don't understand why they do not just OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKE. They obviously gave my duvet to someone else, and had delivered to me, by mistake, clothing that clearly belonged to someone else! They were lucky that I called them to report the mistake, since, at least, someone got their clothes back, but they also received a king-sized duvet in place of their queen-sized duvet. And now, I must spend $469 to replace my duvet?!? read more

I hate to leave a bad review but I don't want anyone to have to go through what I did. Don't trust this place with garments you actually care about. I sent off three dresses to them and they permanently damaged my favorite and then sent back just the first two. I panicked and asked my leasing agent where the red dress was and she said she would get to the bottom of it. A few days later it turned up it MANGLED and unwearable with a tag that said "already damaged" (when in fact, it was not) and there's nothing that could be done about it. I was devastated. read more

From the moment I signed up, it felt like a personal "laundry" service. Confirmation of pick ups and deliveries, immediately responding to any questions and most importantly continuing this even after using it several times, shows their commitment to their customers. Consistent Service There is always the concern that businesses in the service industry are going to show their best the first time and once you are a regular customer it unfortunately declines. However, this has never been the case with LANDRY..I would actually say they continue to exceed. Grateful to have this service in San Diego. A family of five with both my husband and I working makes having LANDY an ease choice and one we would highly recommend. We value our free time with our children and knowing our laundry can be taken off our endless list of "to do's" is well worth it! Just wish we had this when our kids were even younger! read more

Was excited to have this local dry cleaning service nearby for my work clothes. I tried them twice and they ruined my clothes both times. The first time I received one of my blazers back all ball-y, you know, the effect that clothes can sometimes get if you over-stuff your washer without allowing it enough water to soak the material, which dries it out and ruins the fabric to a more worn down used look. Two weeks later I gave them another try. Sadly, they ruined both my slacks and another blazer. All 3 of these items came back over-ironed, balled on the fabric throughout, and in a condition far far worse than they were turned in as. My work slacks and blazers are now in a condition that looks as if they aged over night by 10 years. This company's neglect and disregard for my work clothes has left them completely ruined! You can see that the hot iron they used burned far enough through the material which now shows my pockets and seams through the fabric. This is terrible! I tried the nice, patient approach to let them know and their associate Brandi asked me to bring my garments in. Sadly, after nearly a week later, their manager, Will, told me that the over-ironing of the pants and wearing they did to both of my blazers and slacks is normal for them. Wow! I have used other dry cleaning services and not had my pant pockets over ironed to the point where you now see all of the seams and pockets through the fabric. Do not go here for your dry cleaning services unless you want to have all of your clothes ruined! In addition, these are my Express black slacks, and Anne Klein black slacks. They gave no concessions for ruining my clothes what so ever! Now, I have to spend extra money on clothes that had I went to other dry cleaning services, would never have had ruined. Watch out for hidden fees! I went in to have 17 dress shirts laundered and pressed and they quoted me $3 per shirt. But they add $0.50 per shirt for an environmental fee that was never disclosed to me. A $0.50 fee per shirt is a 17% increase. They should quote the price you actually pay per shirt not a base price without the added fees. read more

Let me start off by saying this business is extremely well ran and they do an amazing job! We took my wife's wedding dress in finally 1.5 years after our wedding, it was stained very badly (it was a fun wedding for sure!) We got it back several days later, Will the owner personally brought it back to us (great guy, great customer service!!!!) He had one of his guys spend about 4 days working on it for us. The dress is spotless, looks brand new! They even boxed and wrapped it in plastic for us. Above and beyond what we thought we were getting! Very fair price also! I took them a suit and a dress and they were quick and came back perfect. I have not started their home laundry service yet but thats next on my list.
