I wish I could give Lloyd Empires Moving Company a much higher rate than a 5 star, because they deserve it! I recently moved from a 3 bedroom home to an apartment, and hired this company based on it's excellent reviews. Although a bit skeptical, because of past experiences, with "other reputable companies", this one will NOT disappoint you. Best experience ever, and I will definitely used them again, if I ever move (which I hope this is my last LOL). From the estimate date to the last piece of my belongings brought in, this was by far the smoothest move I've had. And I've moved A LOT ! Thank you to all involved in making this change for us, a happy one. All the movers were extremely respectful, knowledgeable, kind, friendly and above all, VERY experienced. They handled everything with CARE, and that is hard to find these days. They even dismantled a very fragile, heavy glass dining table the day of my move and put it all back together, without a scratch! A gob WELL done indeed. Last week I retained the services of Lloyd Empires Moving & Delivery for a move to my new residence on July 22nd. I was very happy that they could accommodate me on such short notice. The services that I received from beginning to end were excellent!! The two movers that did the work were very professional, punctual and offered great customer service. They had everything done from point A to point B in the time I was given when I booked my move. When I received the invoice, the total amount was exactly what I was given in the quote, no surprise. It was a pleasure dealing with this company and I will recommend them to friends and family looking for moving or delivery services. This was my fourth move over a three year period. Echoing the other five star reviews, Mike and the crew are truly the best moving crew I've hired to date. Our move within Ottawa (South Keys to Barrhaven) went so smoothly that they finished before the minimum time and even though our new condo has many flights of stairs they didn't even leave a blemish on any of our nice big furniture. Highly recommended moving company. The crew arrived 10 minutes early, and worked hard for the next 5 hours to get all my stuff moved. They were polite and helpful, and explained some of the intricacies of the moving business as they went. One mentioned he had been in the business many years, and that he loved it. It definitely showed in the work they all did. There were some awkward things they had to deal with, as well as the two storey climb to the new place. However, it all went well, and I am very pleased. I have mentioned to several people already that the crew was great. Lloyd Empires will definitely be my first call the next time I move. read more

I used Lloyd Empires for my move last month and I was very impressed. I had two movers that were very quick and professional. They wrapped all my furniture and laid carpet runners all over to avoid scratching and dirtying my floors. They were able to carry my heavy packed boxes with ease and barely stopped the whole time despite all the stairs they had to endure. The quote Mike gave me was spot on. They were pleasant to work with which makes the stress of moving a lot easier to deal with.
