I own a downsizing company and have used many movers over the years. Adam's Moving is a company that I trust and will continue using. They have always been on time and are very organized - everything has a home on their trucks! The Adam's staff have always worked well with my staff and are very friendly to our clients. They often go the extra mile to get the job done. On one project, the service elevator was broken and the larger furniture did not fit on the regular elevator........they carried the larger furniture up 10 - yes, TEN flights of stairs! The Adams staff work hard and work fast with few breaks. In all of our moves (I really should count them) there has NEVER been any damage to my clients contents. What a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!! Adam's Moving is simply the best in the buisness! I just finished up my move with them yesterday and I could not be more thrilled. The move went so much more smoothly then I thought it would after my previous experiences with other companies in Ottawa that all resulted in damage, delays and headaches. The Adam's Moving team were some of the most hardworking, curteous and knowledgeable individuals I have had the pleasure of dealing with. As soon as the crew got to my home they got right to work, they handled all of my things as if it was their own. I was very concerned about my Grandmothers china and huge china cabinet being moved. The office staff were extremely helpful in getting me all the right supplies to pack my china and assured me that the guys would be extremely careful with it, and they WERE!! My husband and I moved to Cornwall, ON from Ottawa on April 15, 2020.The move was a large one (coming from an apt. to a house, from start to finish (over 11 hrs), the guys, Andrew and his team were fantastic. In fact, dealing with Jennifer and Adam from the beginning of the first phone call was great. Jennifer kept us informed regarding our move during this virus right up to receiving the invoice the next day to make sure everything went smoothly. The guys were great, making sure everything was wrapped and packed in the truck to unloading at the house. Even after brining everything in the house they walked thru with me to make sure everything was in the right rooms and if I needed anything moved. I have already recommended them to my realtor for all his clients. My only regret is that we didn't have enough cash on us to give them a better tip. We will be sending them rest of the tip. I want you to pass on our appreciation for a great move on the 26th July. Appreciation also to Victoria for handling and coordinating everything (packing and moving). Andrew and his team (Mike and Dave) arrived on time - in fact a bit early and then immediately got on with the job. The move was a house to house move here in Ottawa - from a pretty big house to another significantly smaller! To get the queen size box springs and mattresses up to the 2nd floor they had to hoist them up through 2nd story "juliet" doors that they had to remove. Everything was done with absolute care for the furniture being moved and the walls, floors, etc inside the house. Great team, great attitude and very professional in all respects. We hired Adam's Moving for our local move, what a wonderful experience.They arrived on time as promised and all 4 guys were friendly, courteous, professional and efficient. We are extremely pleased with the service they provided and the care they took with our belongings.They placed runners throughout the house and didn't scratch one wall. We had a few very heavy pieces but they handled it very well. The driver (lead) Andrew was awesome and made sure that everything ran smoothly. My men receive praises and compliments from our customers for jobs that are well done by actual real people that have used our company...True costumers have the right to do a review on a company....Fictitious reviews should be edited and or taken down...I would love to see the actual invoice that this said costumer would have received once his SUPPOSED move was completed...I am a person who does not get upset easily but when a person messes with a companies reputation without ANY PROOF I believe that the review board of this review site should make these people have actual proof by having invoices.....Thank you for reading my Opinion Adam Anderson read more

We recently hired Adam's Moving and were very happy with their services. The moving team was punctual, courteous, friendly and professional. The Adam's Moving was also flexible and asked us how we wanted the move to be completed. They then adjusted their plans to make us happy. In fact, they were so flexible that when our builder's trades people raised a fuss because we had moved in while they were still working, Adam's Moving sent a second team over to move our stuff from our home to an adjacent unoccupied home to allow the trades people to finish. Very happy with this business. Move in mid-October 2013 was complicated, involved moving my BF from his apartment and me from my apartment into a new place plus taking things from both previous residences to a Dymon storage. Everything went smoothly and quickly, nothing broken. All three guys worked hard and virtually non-stop (only one short break through the day). Were exceptionally helpful. Only wee fly in the ointment was one guy complained a lot, but it didn't slow him down. I think it's just his nature. Lastly, the office staff who booked the move were professional and thorough. Crew was late on my moving day, once crew arrived they were very rushed and stated the office forgot about my move today. They ended up damaging my stainless steel fridge Ali was told to just list it on my bill the crew supplied and someone would be in touch with me. after calling the office and leaving multiple messages I still haven't heard back from the company to help fix the damages.i don't recommend this company read more
