Can't imagine what the large portion would be. We also ordered the onion rings as I heard they make them fresh. The plate was full of onion rings and the steak was full of gravy. The Chicken Fried Steak is good but the gravy is amazing! And the onion rings, probably the best onion rings I have ever had. Very fresh tasting and not overly greasy. They are large, cooked to perfection. We drove quite a distance so we wanted to try a few other items. We tried their classic cheeseburger and the club sandwich. The cheeseburger looks good but the meat isn't very good. Far from saying it was a great burger or that I would order the burger again. The club sandwich came with bits of bacon like you would see in a salad instead of full strips of bacon. It came with cheese which is not traditional for a club sandwich; the turkey is like store bought... not very fresh and there was entirely too much mayo. It's a nice place with great service.
