They have a wonderful assortment of unique and well curated gift items including jewelry, cards, tote bags, art, candles, clothing and chachkies. The very friendly salesperson was happy and eager to help me which just topped off the great little visit on the way to the airport. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for unique and thoughtful gifts.

Soo difficult to catch if you work more traditional business hours. But I got lucky this day and was able to stop in. I got a chance to chat with one of the staff members and she shared with me that there business often supplies the hospital in the med center nearby with plants. But when the hospitals are done she brings them back to her shop to re-sell. Hence the name re-leaf because they are recycled plants. How eco friendly is that! The prices were pretty cheap, I got 3 plants for $3 bucks each. I only spent $10 total which is a steal really. Will definitely be back!

They do have a large selection of interior design books which I would have liked to sit and browse through, but this is not the kind of place to do that.

The designers we have worked with have been extraordinarily helpful and kind. They have walked us through different possibilities with their neat design software. We ended up with pieces we cherish and the delivery fee was usually waived or low. We did have one hiccup with a smaller item not having all the required parts but one call to Ballard customer service and it was handled by a very genteel, sweet customer service rep. Really great store where we enjoy shopping! Ballard often has sales, so I recommend keeping an eye out and going in at strategic times of year. One of our visits was right before a seasonal change and our designer offered us a floor model at a discount! Also, the catalogs and website are great resources! Some items may be overpriced, but we have found the quality of our purchases to be fair for the prices we have paid so far. I suggest checking out their website first before coming in and letting the designers know your limits. We never felt looked down upon for being clear with the designers about our budget or tastes. Lastly, the staff at this location have consistently been welcoming and kind. I generally prefer to enjoying browsing on my own and approaching staff once I have a decision or a question. However, I appreciate that the staff/ designers always ask if they may help or simply greet me warmly. A small display of sincere effort means a lot to so many folks in the digital age. Keep it up!

The store uses its setting well, with each room in the house featuring a different type of product (jewelry, scarves, plates, whatever) though they all have furniture and larger items displayed. It's really fun to make your way through the house and explore. Many items have a Mexican or Latin American twist, but there's a lot of variety: I bought a beautiful hand-blown vase and some funky wrought-iron coat hooks here. They also have some really cute kids' items like hand-sewn bibs and puzzles. For the most part, prices are more reasonable than comparable stores in Rice Village and 19th Street--it's pretty easy to get a nice gift for under $50. As soon as I walked in, I noticed they had a huge selection of Christmas ornaments- again, all amazingly curated options! I wanted literally all of them, but I walked away with Dorothy Zbornak from Golden Girls. Come here for the Christmas decor and ornaments. You won't leave without buying something unique.
