Gulfgate is a very fancy, shiny, clean and new-looking shopping plaza which used to be a little older and more run down. It's in a low-income area (compared to the more well known Malls of Houston), and has a low-income crowd, so they have some great deals at some of the stores. They also have a fancy new HEB and a Teahouse for Boba which is pretty cool, and plenty of good stores like Marshalls and what not. It's definitely a much better Plaza than most of what you find around this area. It's a little hard to get to because of all the road works on 45 but it's still well worth a visit.

There is a tiny post office on the second floor with limited hours but it definitely beats having to go all the way to the other side of downtown to use a post office.
