I had gone into Lumber Liquidators around June 15, 2015. I had seen this beautiful laminate flooring that I wanted. So I had a really awesome salesman named Zach, who helped me. He stated I could finance it so I went home so I could sign up for their credit card. Which was 0% for 24 months. So I thought awesome, I can make payments. So I purchased the items by the end of June. I was so happy to finally have new flooring in my house before my son's birthday. So they stated I would have them in less than a month. Well here we are today Sept 28th. Four months later, I have been making payments on a product that I have yet to receive. Every two weeks I have called to get an update. They will say it's going to be another 2 weeks and so on. I called around the 12th a girl had answered, who always says she's going to call back but never does. She advised me that by the end of September I will receive my item. Which is what I have been hearing for the last 4 months. So I called again today to see when my flooring will be in. I was just told it won't be in until the end of October. So I am honestly sick of waiting and wasting my time. I will just go elsewhere, someone that will appreciate my business. Just F.Y.I - I was given 2 options 1. I could pick another product. (Which I didn't see anything) 2. I could return it and when the item came in I could pay for it again. I have extremely mixed feelings about this store and the entire Lumber Liquidators company after visiting them. I have seen their ads for a long time and have subscribed to their email offers for a couple of years. The image they present is of a huge company with a massive selection coupled with closeout prices. Frankly I have usually opted to buy home improvement products at Home Depot because they are located nearby and their selection is adequate. But for a special project I wanted something better than what Home Depot offered and I decided to drive the extra few miles to this, the closest Lumber Liquidators retail store. I have to admit, my jaw dropped. Based on their image I was expecting a big retail showroom with a wide variety of choices and options ... probably a store about the size of a Big Lots or maybe an Ace Hardware. But what I found was a tiny one room office suite tucked away in a sleepy business park suite (where all the other stores were either closed or out of business). The selection of flooring was pitiful, and honestly looked quite dated. The display samples looked like they had been there for quite a while (some were faded by the sun) and for some inexplicable reason all of the samples were glued to a backer-board so it was hard to get a sense for what the product itself felt like. There were two retail clerks and there were both very friendly and seemingly knowledgeable. During the time I was there a few customers wandered in and out and the sales people had an unnervingly similar conversation with each of them, offering them a sample as if they were resigned to the fact that none of the customers were seriously interested in buying anything. On one hand I like the no-pressure approach but the store and its employees gave me no motivation to buy anything from them. When I walked out I felt more confused than anything else and I certainly wasn't impressed by the prices. On a side note - as a first time experience with Lumber Liquidators I wonder how they get away with using their company name. The store neither sells lumber nor are they a liquidator. They are a hardwood flooring (real and simulated) retail store, that's it. read more

The two young gentlemen were very helpful, patient and professional. They even offered to use their mobile phone as it had a larger screen, in conjunction with the Lumber Liquidators app to simulate what my chosen floor would look like in my actual home. Great customer service, and can't say enough about these young men. They did it all, from assisting walk in guests, to working the form lift in the warehouse to loading my car. You don't find employees like this who have a sense of ownership like they did. I just wish I remembered their names to mention them. I believe one was Daniel Gurrola as I just found the business card in my wallet. read more

I have had the WORST experience with these guys. I have been expecting a shipment and was assured that it would be here on a specific date and they could not follow through. I needed the shipment to come on time because it's necessary before I can move on with the next step of my house! I already made arrangements with the expectation of on time delivery. I am beyond furious and the item I want is in stock, but all damaged and not sellable. read more

Great experience with them! The manager( Mike) at Scottsdale location helped us a lot with our selection and cost. He patiently gave us enormous information and worked with our budget.the installer manager ( Gerg) of Just Floors and their crew were great too. I LOVE MY NEW FLOORS!!! I want to thank the staff and the installers at this store. They were very knowledgeable and super professional when it came to their business. This was my last stop when I shopped around and it was the easiest decision of my life when it came to the price and the employees.They helped me pick out the perfect floor for my home and was delivered and installed even sooner than expected. We purchased some wood flooring and some transition pieces, after we laid all of the floors we had way too much flooring are were able to match up the tile perfectly to the wood. When we returned the extra flooring and transition pieces we couldn't have been happier. The guys in the store credited our account happily and promptly. The internet has their hours posted from 9 to 7 Monday through Friday. The sign on the door says they're open from 9 to 7 Monday through Friday. I tried to call ahead of time and got stuck in the press a number routine. So I came to the store, it is now 6:30 and the doors are locked. No one is answering my knocks. Was just at Floor and Decor yesterday and they had a great selection but we still wanted to shop around. Done deal for LL. read more

I recently purchased 1400 sq ft of their flooring and hired someone else to do the job since they were working on other renovations as well. The flooring looks great, no problem. Problem is, we decided we were not going to do the stairs. So we had 356 sqft of leftover wood from not doing the stairs and the extra cushion. At no point was it brought to my attention that the sale was final. In the stack of paper I had they had a small stamp that says final sale, not on the signature side so I didn't catch it. Floor and Decor was another option but they informed me that the wood I liked was a final sale because its a discontinued item, makes sense but I decided not to buy it for that reason. Went to the Scottsdale location to return the extra flooring only to be turned down. The reason it was a final sale because it was sale item. I didn't expect them to buy the flooring back at full price. I also anticipated paying a restocking fee. But they wouldn't budge because its a sale item even though they plan to continue to carry the flooring at the store. Thing is I looked around and 90% of the flooring there were sale items. So they're not sale items really if everything is always on sale, just a ploy to make you think you're getting a good deal. So with that finale sale policy on sale items they basically make it difficult for consumers to return flooring, hence why it was never verbally spoken prior to making the payment. I hate businesses that nickel and dime consumers, will never go there again or recommend it to friends and family. Also it seemed like a dumb business move because they will continue to carry the flooring, therefore they'd buy it back after the 20% fee and be able to sell it for more, making money on top of the sale to the next customer. read more
