Lumber Liquidators is an awesome place to shop for your flooring! They have an excellent variety of all different types of floors. Jennifer is a wonderful salesperson and helped me find everything I needed. Customer service is definitely excellent. She made me feel comfortable with what I was buying and put no pressure on me at all. She was patient and even stayed late for me to make my decision. Returns are also super duper easy. The manager was wonderful and helped me switch out floors when the first ones I bought didn't end up working out. She was quick via email and super sweet! All in all, this is the place I'd go if I had anymore flooring needs! Highly recommend. read more

Vanessa at the Salinas store was fantastic to deal with. She made it easy for us to order and make changes to our order. Mario, Vincent and crew were extremely helpful due to last minute changes to our order. The layout of our floors was done beautifully. The detail to the baseboards were masterfully installed. They did a beautiful job throughout the house. We are completely satisfied with the job done. read more

I had a great experience at this Salinas branch! My wife and I had bought our first home and were looking into getting all new flooring for it. We had been searching, researching, and also visiting different stores and retailers, but either many of them didn't have what we were looking for or it was sadly out of our budget. When we showed up we were immediately helped by one of the female floor salespeople there and she was very informative and helpful to our needs. We like what we saw and fit with our budget. Being that we needed flooring for 1600 sq ft! We decided to check another store but we immediately came back because they had the best prices; which then we dealt with George another salesman there and helped us in buying and loading it. I would definitely recommend them and we also had a great experience at this store! read more

We had an outstanding experience at LL Flooring in Salinas. Jennifer was the first person I met when I walked in the store and from the moment she approached me it was clear that she not only had a broad knowledge of not only the products they sell but also of the installation process and how liaison with the contractor would work. She carefully explained every detail of the process to me. Then after the installation was complete she called to follow up and ask if there was anything else they could do. She even arranged for a reimbursement for work that had not been necessary during the installation. Jennifer is easily the best sales-person I have met in recent times - not a common occurrence in these days when you are far more often to be met with apathy and people who don't care about customer service. I think it won't be long before she is a manager at one of these stores (or somewhere else if LL fails to recognize what a star employee they have in their midst.) read more

I Am a return customer who is appalled to find out after purchasing thousands and thousands of dollars of additional Wood flooring that I am expected to pay upfront 100% for installation! This is not how business is conducted when having any construction done... one never pays 100% of the job because there is no recourse of the job if not done properly or finished. If I had the opportunity to give zero stars I would... I made attempts to work this out with Mgmt. and was told this is how business is done in CA. I'm in the construction business and this NOT how business is conducted in CA who in their right mind would pay 100% prior to a job starting? read more

We had such a good experience when we bought our floors from Lumber Liquidators. The staff is very knowledge and I believe their pricing is fair. We looked in San Jose and other stores and found that the Salinas store was the best fit for us, not to mention the convenience of having it only a few blocks away. We only have good things to say about the staff and service we received .. I definitely would recommend this store to friends and family.. read more

This lumber liquidators in salinas, ca was awesome. I went in with little experience with wood flooring and was pleasantly surprised with the knowledge of the staff. Specifically Liz! I've been to your San Jose stores couple of times and it's so hard to be seen by a worker unless you have more than an hour to spare. Salinas is a different story, even when times that I stopped by here with other customers in the store, they make sure to let you know that they'll be with you as soon as possible. I've been helped by both Michelle and Lisa and both are wonderful to work with. Both are very patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. read more

I have been a customer at the Blossom Hill store in San Jose and was very pleased. Sadly, the customer service at the Salinas store was NOT a pleasant experience. My husband and I went there to look at different options, and the young man who waited on us wasn't very attentive AT ALL. After showing us a couple of options, he said he would be right back and then left us standing there for about 10 minutes. The final straw was when he left the floor AGAIN, as I started to ask another question!! I didn't get his name, but whoever he was needs some serious training. Needless to say, we won't be going back to the Salinas location. read more

installer not qualified to do the work, install horrible, installers where contracted through the store

Talk about a waste of our time!! We set up an appointment for the installer to come and measure our room, never showed up. We called the office they knew absolutely nothing about what his schedules looks like. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. read more

I personally had a great experience at Lumber Liquidators. I thought the employees were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful while I was shopping for new flooring. They have a pretty extensive selection of flooring. We ended up choosing a beautiful laminate for our home that fortunately for us was on sale. Once we chose the flooring they contacted Johnny's Flooring to do the installation. I was very impressed with their work as well. Everything was done in a timely manner and they were very accommodating with my schedule. I'd recommend them to anyone in Salinas looking for new floors read more
