I spent over an hour in that store and probably could have been there longer if the store wasn't closing. We ordered a custom sofa from Sheffield with COM fabric. All dimensions of the sofa were clearly…read moredelineated on the order form, carefully reviewed by Sheffield, and signed off by Sheffield and us. The sofa was delivered with the correct fabric and looked good. However, we later realized that the chaise portion of the sofa was 3 inches narrower than specified on the order form. Instead of being 39" wide (interior) it is 36" wide. Sheffield has refused to do anything to make the order match what was specified, what they agreed to, and what we paid for. They claim that being 3" narrower is "within spec" and maybe a result of the fabric pulling it narrower. The fabric!?! Pulling a wooden frame in 3"?!? An absurb dodge to avoid their cost to rebuild the sofa as specified. Sheffield did not stand behind the contract that they signed to deliver quality furniture.
