Beautiful displays, pleasant atmosphere, artistic, details are noticeable. Also outdoor area is pleasant and maintained well.

My grandmother always had carolers adorning her mantle and I am not sure where they were made, but they looked a lot like the ones here. These beautifully handcrafted Carolers are made with love and it is evident that they are high quality. The showroom is impressive and there is an entire museum of the unique designs, and a street of Victorian Dickens shops to visit and enjoy. You can also peek into the workshop to see where they are made. I especially love the ones with the Christmas Markets stalls. So pretty and unique. read more

Byers' Choice is truly one of those perfectly charming places where you begin a holiday family tradition. The grounds are beautifully kept, there is plenty of parking and upon entering the building there are a few tables set up to make your own caroler. All the trimmings are there so you can customize your doll exactly as imagined. A small viewing/sitting room is one of the first stops ~ complete with a short, interesting video of Byers' Choice history before moving on down the walkway to peer through the windows of some lovely decorated rooms from days gone by. A large display of nativity scenes from all over the world is both stunning and heartwarming as is the Byers' Choice carolers in holiday exhibits with wooden plaques describing different traditions. Other tremendous scenes of those sweet carolers are on display with the most intricate, amazing attention to detail. The gift shop is big, stocked with a fantastic selection of carolers, ornaments, holiday decor and gifts ~ and the staff here are exceptionally friendly. My grandmother has a big collection of these carolers; my favorite is the Caroler holding the Charles dickens bored. My cousin and I cherish helping put them up together with my grandmother. They are high quality. Now all grown up I love going with to pick out a new caroler. The showroom is amazing; the staff are wonderful. read more

BEWARE! Something has changed at Byers Choice. After over 25 years of doing business with BC, my experience yesterday demonstrated to me that they have lost their comittment to satisfying their customers. I purchased $200 of Carolers at 6:30PM one evening and then at 9:00am the next day I received an email with a nice promotion opportunity if you spend $150. When I called their headquarters, the agent effectively said...too bad. No promotion opportunity for you......you ordered too early. I could not believe they would not honor the promotion. When I discussed cancellation with the agent, she said that my order had already shipped anyway (not true). But amazingly after 2 or 3 hours I did get a label created notice for my order. Funny how that happened. The agent transferred me to the decision maker, manager, David and I left him a voice mail. He still has not called back, and will not call back I am sure. As other reviews have indicated, the people there just don't care. My mentor from long ago ofter reminded me: "You can shear your sheep once a year, but you can only skin it once". My advice is buy from anybody else but these people....they don't care. Stay far away from Byers Choice. read more

Time to catch the holiday feels and our first excursion was to Byers choice. This is the home of those dolls seen just about everywhere "the carolers". I personally find them creepy, however are a staple of holiday decor. Byers choice is fully decked for the holidays even the statues along the drive are donning Christmas decor. Room after room of displays with hundreds of various Carolers in beautifully curated sets for your eyes to feast on. UA magical indoor Christmas outing that doesn't take all day and isn't too far from Philly that will fill your cup of Christmas cheer. read more

Here's the honest truth - the dolls produced by this manufacturer scare me a bit. I like the idea, but their faces are disturbing to me. Blame it on the "valley of the uncanny" or whatever you want, but I wouldn't personally keep these dolls. That is except the Krampus doll, where the distorted face actually makes sense. It's supposed to be creepy. The caroling, joyful Christmas themed dolls are not! So keep this in mind as you read this review. I do like this museum as a Christmas attraction. Their nativity room is extraordinary. They have nativity scenes from all over the world, many of which are very unique, such as the paper origami one. The entire lobby is set up like a winter wonderland with gingerbread houses and holly wreaths. It is a sight to behold. I'm less than thrilled about the crowds it brings. This is an small attraction, and with all those people stuffed inside it gets hot quickly. It's also very easy to do the whole exhibit in less than half an hour, so I don't know if it's worth traveling from far away to see. The owners of this company definitely knew how to make a brand and profit from it. Kudos to them, since that's hard to do. This museum is fun, but not a must see unless you're a diehard fan of the dolls. read more

They are beautiful figurines BUT no one should ever buy a single one from Byers because they simply do not hold their value at all!!! Thousands of listings on ebay and people are giving them away at under $30 when Byers sells them at $75 plus. That's BS. If you like Byers then go to ebay and pay bargain basement prices. read more

Museum is fine but do t buy their products. They choose to sell through a variety of third parties such as Amazon then refuse to stand behind their product. In our case it was an Advent wreath with a clear manufacturing defect. They couldn't have cared less. read more

I have been collecting Byers carolers for years now and have a nice collection that is still growing. I recently called the store because I needed help with a missing muffin on one of my carolers. I experienced excellent service. The lady who took my phone call was polite, understanding, and extremely helpful. She told me it would probably take a few weeks for delivery and I surprisingly just received the item...ahead of time! I look forward to visiting the museum and store sometime in the near future. The Carolers are beautiful. I wanted to order (from their website) several to add to my collection. I am giving this a "3" only because of Customer Service's lack of service. After putting my choices in the "cart" they disappeared. When I called Customer Service, all Rick could tell me was that he would "take the order over the phone."....no effort to solve the problem with their website. I suggest that management get more informed and helpful employees for the phone. Otherwise I love their collections. Merry Christmas to all. read more

Byer's Choice is a really cool place. Although tours are year round, it's beautiful during the holidays and free! I know tons of people who collect the carolers, and they are beautiful. It's neat watching the workers make the dolls. Although when I was younger, I found it kinda creepy...like I was watching a sweatshop operation or something. BUT that's not the case! The employees here are treated very well, as are the customers. If you're a caroler collector, there's a cool new option to customize your own online. Just a really sweet little place to check out when you're bored in the burbs! Great place to bring the family with a rich and interesting history. read more

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an enjoyable experience. The museum is off the major roads and in a more rural area. They have their own parking lot which is nice. When you walk in you are greeted with the sights and sounds of Christmas. Before you start down the streets of London, there is a 5-8 minute video to watch to give you an overall view of the museum and how the caroler are made. It is a well developed video and definitely recommend viewing before touring the building. It is self-guided and can move around the place as you please. Take a stroll down a street in London, peaking into the homes that are decorated for Christmas and, of course, Byers Carolers. It will inspire to decorate your home for the upcoming Christmas Season! At the end of the street you now enter into different themed rooms that feature more carolers. Most of the carolers featured are Christmas themed, however they do have their Williamsburg exhibit too. How are these carolers made you ask? There is an observation deck where you can watch the hands at work making a single caroler from start to finish. At the end of the walking tour, there is a large gift shop to view. It is FREE to go, and handicap accessible. read more

Just visited this great Christmas store and Holiday Museum. We took the whole family through the displays and had a great day out to get in the Holiday Spirit early. Free museum plus if you go during the week, you can watch the artisans make the Carole's by hand. The gift shop was filled with unique Christmas products from local artists and from around the world. read more

Amazing customer service. I had the Salvation Army caroler with the kettle on a black stand. I wrote and asked if I could buy a leg for the stand as in a recent move it was lost. To my surprise, Byer's Choice said that they would replace it free of charge if they had an extra in the warehouse. About 2 weeks later, I received the replacement leg for the stand. Absolutely outstanding company and I love their products. read more

I have always loved those Christmas Caroler figurines sine the first on I ever saw. My Mother in law had a Dickens Christmas Village she would set up ever year. I did not know however the story of Joyce & her husband Bob (the owners) and how it all got started. I am a Bucks County Master Gardener and was asked 2 years in a row to lead a tour through their beautiful formal gardens. Truly amazing. And through out the grounds there are beautiful sculptures done by some famous and local artists. They also have quite a large selection of KNOCK OUT ROSES in the formal garden as well as a magnificent wrought iron gate enclosing the garden shoes intricate detail is incredible and to think it was hand made . WOW so impressive. From the moment you drive into the grounds you are hit with beautiful landscaping and real art work for all to enjoy. As for the main part of Byers Choice the reason most come is the actual Caroler figurines hand crafted right there on the premises. You can actually watch them being created from an observation deck above. Once inside you can walk among beautiful holiday displays. It's like walking down a street in London straight out of the Dickens era. Cobblestone streets and house and store front windows where you can look inside and see life size fireplaces , furniture tables etc. like looking into your neighbors house decorated for Christmas. It's quaint and so real you really are in another place at that moment in another time. OH but before you start the little walk there is a room where you can sit down and watch a short video that gives you all the background info on how it all began. This is amazing. And The owners (who I unfortunately never had the pleasure to meet) are pillars of the community. The give to many Charities and are really concerned with bettering the community, so if you think this is just another place where people are just showing off their wealth, think again. All the artwork sculpture are free as is the tour of the inside. Yes there is a gift store but you are by ne means obligated to purchase anything. You can't go to a museum without paying but here these wonderful people allow you access to beautiful artwork and the tour inside is a nice e treat. But I will add that should you be so inclined to visit the gift store ,...they have some wonderful unique gift that are very reasonably price. read more
