He's an old hippie who lived and worked as a teacher in California most of his life and then ended up moving to New Hope and buying a place for a song which he fixed up. He lives over the shop which helps keep his overhead down in a town where rent can be a killer and really drive up the price of the merchandise. Joel has a wild mix of old and new. He's got a full array of vintage mugs from different time periods, along with many awesome selections of hand made, one of a kind pottery mugs and bowls. He also has other interesting kitchen kitsch and a hodgepodge of artsy brickabrack and art. Very cool place. Recommended.

Again - you get what you pay for. 3. No pressure staff- and the owner is a very nice person if you take the time to speak to him. His niece and the rest of the family that work there are very nice. Example here is a CUSTOM necklace of ruby, sapphire, peridot and pink tourmaline with a natural citrine center stone. This necklace was over $800 but was custom made and the center stone is a 3-4 carat Citrine. They asked what we were looking for and made a masterpiece that will be passed down for generations to come.
