I love love love this store. I buy my Christmas gifts here every year for my sister, daughter in law and my daughter. They always love what I get them. I really wanted to support this shop because it's local and I heard they are fellow Jews and I try to support neighborhood businesses whenever possible. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely uncomfortable. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being watched and profiled. I was followed closely around the store and repeatedly told not to touch items, which made it impossible to browse or shop normally. At one point the owner was standing right next to me and speaking in a way that felt more like being scolded than helped. They won't let you look around the shop without following you around and asking you not to touch anything. Oh also they have a million perfume testers which they get mad if you smell them. Literally you cannot smell open samples of perfumes or they scream at you not to touch them. The overall attitude was very hostile and unwelcoming, which was surprising in a neighborhood where most small business owners are warm and appreciative of customers. I left feeling really disappointed because I had intended to give them my business. After mentioning the experience to a few other locals, I learned that others had similar interactions there. I hope the owners reconsider how they treat customers because the environment felt unnecessarily negative and uncomfortable. Ps. Same lady in all the other review pictures ! Amazing customer service doesn't even cover it! I bought a pair of alligator rings about 3 weeks ago and about a week ago one of the rhinestone eyes fell out. I contacted them right away and without hesitation or trying to blame it on me, they immediately sent me a replacement. It just arrived. THANK YOU FOXY RED's!!! My boyfriend and I were browsing their scents and the sales woman lurked around the entire time and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I was still warm and friendly as I work in retail myself, and understand this is often expected of sales associates. After I expressed my desire to continue looking around, being unsure of what scent I wanted, the sales woman became incredibly passive aggressive and scolded my boyfriend for helping me spray perfume (and for now know how to do it "properly"). Super weird. Being that I work in retail, I know there is a polite way to redirect customers if there is an expectation that the customers not touch certain merchandise. She did quite the opposite, since she must have felt that we were no longer going to purchase form the store, which was actually not the case at all. Overall, this lines up with the other one star reviews this store has received, and it seems as though it may be the same individual creating poor experiences for particular...kinds of customers. I was happy to give my business to other stores in the area who were much more welcoming and kind (which was literally every other store). I was also happy to find the store's merchandise online (which you can do for most items in the store) and offer my money to the brand directly, rather than paying for poor service. read more

The woman who owns the store is rude and condescending to any shopper who is unwilling to drop a small paycheck on a pair of earrings. They profile you as soon as you walk in to see if you're carrying an expensive bag. There are so many beautiful and KIND stores nearby. read more

Yay for the one place open when there was a little snowstorm here. We were on vacation and of course there was a snowstorm that weekend with our luck. We came here since it was the one store open plus had toys! Which is always something we look for when on vacation for our toddler. They had tons of other nice stuff too, but mom guilt made me only get something for our boy lol. Super friendly people in the store too. read more

As soon as I walked into this charming store, I knew I would love it. It has everything from amazing smelling candles, to cool men's socks/underwear, to beautiful jewelry and clothing for women. I attended a lovely brunch, which included mimosas, awesome music and face painting. Friendly service and cleanliness throughout the establishment, with a great atmosphere. This is a great store to visit, especially with the holidays around the corner. Start taking care of those wish lists now! This shop is wonderful! F and I just happened to wander in on a beautiful Spring Wednesday. We were warmly greeted by the proprietor, Ally. She had just opened. Grand Opening scheduled for this Friday May 11th. FoxyRedds, named after Redd Foxx, has an ecclectic mix of old and new, jewelry and decor, scents and soaps. Everything is well priced and lovely. I found so many interesting treasures. I'm already planning my trip back to pick up gifts. read more

Beautifully curated little shop! Super friendly sales staff, who were knowledgeable about the vintage items. A bit further into the shop, a chilled jug of mango scented tea was set out... and I discovered a lovely range of teas! I adore that the tea offerings were easily experienced with nifty little glass jars of each variety sitting in front of each tea bin, no need to ask to pull anything down from the shelves. Teas are available in clear bags or in sweet little gift tins for $1 more. I opted for two for myself in plain clear bags (a lovely jasmine green, and a tropical pineapple green) and two herbal teas in tins, which my saleswoman took care in filling 'to the brim' as instructed by the owner. She then placed them in a clever little 'takeout' styled container, and wrapped it all up in multicolored ribbon, for gifting, no extra charge! Sweet!
