I feel like you can't really trust a lot of car shops now a days, but we trust Barney's! The service was so fast and reliable. I had gotten told at a Dobbs in a bigger city that I needed to replace my shocks and struts and it would cost me about $1000. I took it to Barney's and they ran a bunch of tests and within an hour they told me there's nothing wrong with and I don't need them fixed for a while. They get us in every time without fail. The staff is kind and trust worthy and keep it real with you about your car and their opinions. I really appreciate the honesty!

From my phone, I headed to discounttire.com and ordered a pair of inexpensive tires, setting an appointment for the day after we arrived in Joplin. I was warmly welcomed to the store when I arrived and the service advisor tried hard to find the specific tires that I ordered. Couldn't find them. Thankfully, he had alternatives in stock and he honored the original price. A few minutes later, I headed across the street for a breakfast bite while the team worked away. A text message that the car was ready and I returned. All set and the work was complete. When you include the road hazard cover, the disposal fee, the this-that-and-the-other fee and such, it's not cheap. But they were thorough, friendly and I am confident in the new tires on my daughter's SUV. At least now if she hits another curb, the tires will be replaceable at this or any other Discount Tire. However, after attempting to get a procedure on my car finished I realized that the store was heavily limited in their abilities. I also think that certain employees are less reliable than other ones as what Skylar told me was significant different and less helpful, I would actually dread going up and seeing that I was in line for him to help me. I would wait for hours, for my car to get up on the rack, just to be told a new thing was wrong with my car and I would have to fix it and then put it back on the rack to have something else wrong. If you need something apart from tires, go to Reeves on 7th, not the one on rangeline or Quality Auto in Carl Junction. They have tires, and that is basically it, additionally your tires may be better than what they tell you depending on the team member you get.

I drove over an hour to find they closed early that Saturday by placing a sign on the door. I was willing to give it one more shot and called today: Chris answered and I asked about the unit and he replied with 'what about it?' He then stated that it was no longer available AND the price had gone up. That's not what the website states. Very bad customer service. Sadly, I've had friends looking for trailers recently and would have loved to spread the word to them and others for years to come. Sorry R & S you may have just lost valuable word of mouth business!
