Ross with Phoenix Fine Homes, LLC. We hired Mr. Ross to add an enclosure to our patio area. He got through most of the project but didn't complete his checklist by doing the painting and caulking of the area. He also supposedly guarantees his work for one year, but within that time frame, we had a panel fall down. We contacted Mr. Ross via multiple emails with pictures, phone calls, texts, and mail to let him know what happened, he responded once by texting, "You might try someone else" to repair the work. We declined his offer to hire someone else since his work is still under warranty. Since then, he has "disappeared" and we've heard nothing. The business address which is listed with the Department of Labor & Industries, in his contract, and business website is fictious; it leads to a community park. We thought we had done our homework in checking his references, none of which seem to be recent, and he prides himself on all good ratings. We realized how he is getting these, before he completed our project, he asked for pictures of the project and a 5 Star review. We told him we don't give reviews until a project is completed. His response was that he would complete the work once he got the reviews. The work remains incomplete, and he has not made any effort to repair the area that failed. We had hoped to have our patio enclosure completed and repaired in order to give Mr. Ross a great review. Instead, we've had to give Mr. Ross the review we believe he deserves. We discourage any of you from using K. Ross (owner of Phoenix Fine Homes, LLC). If you want a contractor to build, remodel or repair your home, look elsewhere; we hope we can save you from losing time, money, and effort.

My builder hired Interior Effects to perform extensive drywall, painting, and millwork repairs…read morethroughout my house after significant construction defect repairs. The supervisor (Paul) had one of his most experienced drywallers (Matt) do most of the work himself, so the entire process was completed in 2 phases over about 6 weeks. They did an excellent job skimcoating over the old texture in order to make a great base for the new texture/paint throughout my house. They were very thorough masking off entire areas of the house to prevent dust/texture/paint from getting on anything in the house. They really went above and beyond just what was on the "work order." For example, in one case, one of the heating ducts was not lined up correctly with the hole in the ceiling. The original drywallers made a bit of a mess and there was a gap into the attic behind the duct. They patched up the crumbling drywall, and used the proper foil tape to create a permanent fix. Once the register cover was back on, the fix was invisible! (I'll attach a pic to the review) If I ever need to hire a drywall company myself to complete some repairs, these guys will be at the top of my list.

He looked it over and left. I received a bill later that night for $86.51 via email. Wondering if it was an error I called the next morning to find out what the bill was for. I did not receive a call back for 4 days. Israel called me and told me he charged me for an inspection. I explained that I did not want an inspection, never asked for an inspection, and never agreed to an inspection. I clearly asked for a quote for possible services to be done down the road. Israel argued with me about the inspection and would not offer to rescind the bill he issued. I have had multiple other chimney companies come out to issue quotes and I have had zero issues with them, zero bills, and zero attempts to charge me for a quote of services. Beware of Safeguard billing you for unwanted services. I can only imagine what other non agreed on "services" they would charge me if I actually had them work on my chimney. What a scam!
