    Making manoushés!

I had Liza for a professional lunch, and I was so impressed. The restaurant has two spots next to one another, one is a sit down more formal restaurant, and one is a 'fast casual' section with products to go. The menu has a large varieties of manoushé and Lebanese sandwiches. I went with the classic zataar manoushé, and it was divine. The sandwiches were made quickly and carefully and were a great deal (around 5-6 euros per manoushé, and were quite big). On the side, I had a date juice and for dessert a crème de fleur d'oranger... basically orange goodness pudding. They had many appetizer sides and Lebanese classics like lebneh and taboulé. With some flatbread it's heaven. It was very busy as it was a week day at lunch time, but I was impressed with the smiling staff and their ability to still serve the food quickly. I plan to go back and try every sandwich since I miss Beirut so much.

This was a wonderful dining experience. My kids enjoyed the entire experience and we were pleased with our meal and wine. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. We had falafel and a vegetarian dish with traditional accompaniments (hummus, babaganoush, etc). We devoured every bit.

Some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Go!!! I had the mixed meat kabob. Also the cocktails are great too!

Very good Libanese restaurant! The have an extensive tasting menu but also a lot of choice in separate dishes. The taste of every dish is very flavoured and according to Libanese standards very authentic. Good experience, Nice people, good Food!

I have been going to Restaurant Liza for over five years and it has become my second kitchen. When in town, I go at least every two weeks, often more! The refined Lebanese food is delicious and the menu provides plenty of options for vegetarians, carnivores, picky eaters and everyone in between. The fixed price lunch 'plateaux' are an excellent deal for a working lunch. The dinner menu is more elaborate, and one needs to be careful not to over-order as the quantities are generous. My all time favorite mezzedes include spinach with onions, artichokes with peas, the Fattouch salad but all of the options are tasty and made of high quality ingredients. All meat and fish main course dishes are excellent and daily specials keep things particularly interesting. The grillade is exceptional as well. Brunch is served buffet-style with a nice, colorful presentation and special traditional Lebanese dishes that are not served during the week. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, fresh and modern. The service is efficient and friendly without every lacking in professionalism. Reservations highly recommended!

Worse value for money. Expensive food and tasteless. Though the staff was pleasant and friendly!

What I in addition enjoys about this place, is the non existing tourist - it´s kind of a hidden gem away from the big streets.

This place has changed its name to "Dounia". And that alone might explain the good reviews for…read moreMezzé, since it's perfectly clear that Dounia is terrible. The guy (Sami, I think) was pushy and got our order wrong anyway. He then tried to charge us for an expensive dish, not the dish that he actually delivered. But the real problem was the food, which was sloppily thrown together, uninteresting, and ultimately not very good. The sauce on the greasy french fries had the taste of the worst artificial mayonnaise, rather than any kind of Middle Eastern sauce I've ever had. And the vegetables were soggy and sad. Lebanese food like this wouldn't hold its own in the American Midwest. Here in Paris, it manages to make a mockery of the fine food of both Lebanon and France.

If you've been to Paris and you go out at 4am you know it's like a Ghost town. I'm my desperation for food...I walked for about 30 minutes looking for something to eat. Then I found this place. If you're in need of a gyro, falafel or just need food at 4am...this will satisfy. It's also one of the few places open at that hour. Over all I probably went here like every other night during my stay in Montmartre. They're really nice people and they cook really well. It is in a shady area, but where else will you go for food at that hour?
