Eyebrow Threading

Eyebrow threading at Liya Eyebrow threading in Savannah GA. Alina threaded them, they look great. Next time I'll do the tint in addition to the threading. My brows have gotten lighter over the years. Great Job Alina!

Park by the lot by the food court, it's the closest to the shop. - Vibe - Located in the food court area, SBB is well lit inside with a black and red theme. They have salon chairs lined up on one side and a make up wall on the other. It looked like a pretty extensive display of cosmetics, but not of any brand I had heard of, but then again, I don't wear much make up either. - TLC - She never told me her name, but I think her name was Chand and I'm only saying that because that's what it says on my receipt, unless both ladies who were present use the same ID on the register. My eyebrows were not terrible this time, but holy, Jesri was fast! I was already anxious because my two kids were with me and they were already antsy with the promise of some treats and some playtime at the indoor playground if they sat still while I got my brows done. I didn't feel like coming to the mall again later in the week. She was very personable too, making conversation as she did her thing. I really appreciated her efficiency and so did my kids. - Services - I personally got the Eyebrow threading for $13 and that's seems to be the standard price everywhere. They offer a variety of services, targeting only certain parts of the face or the Full Face and they offer various packages and memberships. Looks like they offer eyebrow tinting services as well. - Heads Up - Jesri got me at the cash! Haha. I couldn't pass up a good deal. They have this deal where if you buy a $40 gift card, your threading service that day is free. Also, the gift card never expires. It saved me $13! They also have this pretty sweet deal for $17.99 per month for unlimited threading. If SBB was a lot closer and if I had unruly, bushier eyebrows, I would have probably gotten that deal too. I have been threading my eyebrows for as long as I can remember and I refuse to remove/trim any other way. SBB is the third pace I've tried in and around Savannah and and so far, I like SSB the best.

I am maybe too trusting of people with my eyebrows, they did look a bit lopsided post this past visit, but I'm the one staring at them most often and I've gotten multiple compliments so they must've done something right. Eyebrows and tinting will cost you $25 and they're usually running a promotion to purchase a gift card for future visits at a discounted price. The tinting lasts about two weeks. The first time I loved it, the second time it was a little dark for me so I simply applied water to it early (typically you're supposed to wait 24 hours) and I liked the results. All in all, I've gone twice and will continue to return.

Wax & Wane Waxing Salon is where you should be going for your waxing needs! I have been a client at…read moreWax and Wane for a few years. I suggest it to friends, or anyone who asks about waxing in Savannah. The salon is located on Bull street. It is next door to Foxy Loxy cafe. Sometimes parking can be difficult to find. So, plan to arrive early to give yourself time to find parking. Wax & Wane is in a renovated two story house. There are multiple rooms, a small lobby, sitting area, two bathrooms, and small shopping areas. It is warm and cozy inside the house. When you walk in it feels inviting. Every staff member is incredibly kind. I don't have a favorite technician. Because everyone is always so nice! The staff does their job precisely and efficiently. They are happy to answer any questions you may have. They take great care to make sure every room is clean and sanitized before and after every client. When you walk into the salon hand sanitizer is on your left as soon as you open the door. The prices at Wax & Wane are generally less expensive then at most waxing salons. Because all they do is waxing. All of their pricing is listed clearly on their user friendly website. Wax & Wane Waxing Salon is female owned. It is also a locally owned business. Two more great reasons to support this already fantastic business.

I felt super welcomed coming in, and I love the little shop. Carla did my underarms, and I appreciate attention to detail and friendliness! The front desk staff is also friendly, and I the interior is super clean. I'm not sure what hand sanitizer they use, but I'm even obsessed with that as well! Woman owned business and locally owned, so I can't wait to continue to patron this business. I didn't have an issue with parking, but I know that I lucked out because of the weather - plan to get there early to find parking!

I give myself half the blame for this lackluster experience…read more I hadn't made an appointment with my girl Alvira over at Hair Images Salon in Atlanta, and didn't wanna risk the wait for her at noon on a Saturday, since I was in a rush to get to Savannah. I figured hey, I'll just drop by the mall once I'm there, and still make it to where I have to be on time; if they do a good job, I know I'll have a place to go when I'm here. The fact that this is a kiosk and not a storefront should have deterred me from jump, but hey, I'm adventurous. The second thing that should have stopped me was the ridiculous line and only two chairs/threaders. Luckily there was a sign-in clipboard so that I didn't have to clothesline anybody who dared to jump their place in line. I knew that threading is a fairly new thing to Savannah, but some people behaved as if the kiosk was a combination National Geographic exhibit/petting zoo. Many people stopped and stared as people were getting serviced, and more than a few were gauche enough to come stand over the threader and client---like close enough to breathe on them! Look, I have personal space issues as it is, and I have to mentally prepare myself for the threader to be up in my grill... what the hell do I want some random person wandering in the mall JUST as close to me for? Hell naw. Still, I was gonna get my brows threaded. After a half hour, I was finally seated and got into a mini-spat with my threader, who insisted that I had scar tissue on my brow ( I don't, never have, and have never had any trauma there in order to get any; the bare skin was the line of demarcation from where my arch is usually defined by every other threader I've been to). I should have just gotten up right then but I was desperate to have my brows groomed; they were a mess! I also had to instruct her to not allow anyone to get near me while being threaded, as I'd observed it happen to other clients. I mean WTF. Why should I even have to say that? Anyway... The final analysis is that she ( the younger of the pair) is not a very experienced threader... my brows were not shaped well, and to be on the safe(er) side, I let her take too much off, because I knew I could at least fill my browns in and shape them, as opposed to her not taking enough off, and looking just as bad as before I sat in the chair. They didn't look awful, but it was not among the better brow jobs I've had anywhere. I won't be back.

But this one is the PITTS!
