When I walked in, a very handsome man doing a client's nails greeted me with the kindest smile and asked what service I needed. After checking in, he directed me to chair number 3, and within just a minute or two, a sweet young woman named Tee came out to greet me. Even with her mask on, her smile reached her eyes. She introduced herself as Tee, "like a cup of tea," which instantly made me smile. Not only is Tee incredibly talented at what she does, but she is also one of the sweetest souls I've met. Our conversation flowed so easily that it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. The atmosphere in the entire salon matched her energy too--every single staff member had the same kind eyes and welcoming smile. It's such a rare and refreshing experience to go into a nail salon and actually feel welcomed. So many places treat you like just another number or speak over you in a way that feels uncomfortable, but I didn't get a single hint of that here. By the end of my gel pedicure, I hugged Tee and told her how awesome she was. When I went to pay at the front desk, I was greeted again with genuine kindness. The man who greeted me when I first arrived was creating the most beautiful designs on his client's nails, and when the woman behind the desk asked me to please leave a review, I told her, "You all have been SO sweet that I'm leaving a review on Google, Yelp, and anything else I can find!" I've worn lashes for years and never had my lashes be so painful and uncomfortable. I figured they just needed time to settle but every blink, every time I close my eyes, etc is extremely painful. It's been a full day now and I'm pretty sure I will be taking them off very soon. They are just too painful to wear for 2 weeks. They can do my eyebrows anytime but I will find another salon for my lashes unfortunately.
