Front Desk receptionist was nice, even though she was a trainee. The only think that I didn't see was lack of scrubs. I had worked in Doctors offices and we always wore scrubs. Been in medical friend for 36 years. Times have changed. And not for the hood.

I have been to Durango Dermatology numerous times since I moved to Pagosa Springs about 11 years…read moreago. During that time some things have been frozen off and a few things have been cut off. This may have been due to water-skiing in South and Central Texas without a hat. I don't do that any more and wear a hat when I go outside. I have found all of the doctors and staff to be very friendly and attentive to my needs. I am sorry that Linda M. was not happy with her phone call and I hope that issue has been resolved. I have not had the same experiences. Dr. Dai cut a cancerous lesion off my nose and sewed it up very nicely. I had never seen my nose bone before and hope not to do so again. Mark has cut a few things off, too. And various things have been frozen off. So far, so good. I do not know who Dr. Pogue is so no comment there. Bill H.

On this second visit I was told to continue the medication but because the original script was just fir a month, the pharmacy had to get it renewed. My second visit was in Tuesday and the pharmacy sent a request in Wednesday. Finding out the prescription request had gone unanswered I called the doctor's office and left a detailed message. Monday the pharmacy still had heard nothing so I again called the doctors office and left a detailed message with someone to give to the medical assistant. Late Monday I had still heard nothing do I again called the doctors office and this time got a live person who said they knew nothing about my problem and said she saw a script sent to the pharmacy for my medication. I asked the date and she finally replied August. I said this isn't August, is it? So she said she souls send the approval to the pharmacy right away. My point is that it shouldn't take almost seven days to get a prescription renewed and only after three phone calls and my getting bad information back. I am not impressed. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of medical providers in this area or else I would look at alternatives.
