Our hood vent stopped working after 10 years. They sent out a repairman ($150 to show up) who said…read morethat the repair would cost almost as much as a replacement. So we bought the replacement. We scheduled their RECOMMENDED installer to install it as well as vent the hood to the outside. It was on an exterior stucco wall and had never been vented to the outdoors. The installer is named Rodney Cooper--stay as far away from him as you can. He replaced the vent (2 people 1.5 hours with NO electrical work) and then had trouble drilling to the outside. He asked for $2650.00 after doing half the job. My fault for not asking for an estimate beforehand. This was an insane amount for the amount of work he did. And he wouldn't communicate with me when we were both in my house, after I expressly asked him to do so--instead he repeatedly called my husband who was out of town and at Urgent Care for a medical issue. Cooper left without letting me know what the plan was to finish the job. I subsequently called 2 other installers who said the job should have been well under $1000. (one said $550-$650, less if it took less time than he estimated) Now I see Livingoods' response, telling me that it's my fault for not getting an estimate, which I acknowledged above, and that he doesn't know Mr. Cooper's rates. That is unacceptable, since they recommended him. He does not address if $2650 was a reasonable fee for installing a $900 vent. We told Mr, Cooper that there had been a window (since removed) behind the cooktop, and he had told my husband that he had architectural experience, he should have known that there was a 'header' above every window, and his sub tried to drill through the header, where Cooper had determined was the best location. I know that I should have asked for an estimate, but I never expected Livingoods to recommend someone who would charge that much for such a small job. Again, I don't really have an issue with Livingoods, but I do have a SERIOUS COMPLAINT against their preferred installer, Rodney Cooper. Furthermore, Mr Cooper told me not to pay the sub, but to pay him instead, and that I would get a $50 discount if he didn't have to write an invoice. If I am the only person who has complained about Cooper's charges, I am truly surprised.

It was in the evening around 8, but before I went to the store I confirmed they don't close until 10. I had to ask several passing employees and customer service people several times, in which they did page the person and they just didn't show. Then finally a woman comes to help, I am not sure if she was on lunch or what but you would think paint is pretty popular why isn't more than one person available to assist. The person never apologized, there was no sign saying be right back or anything. It wasn't just myself waiting it was multiple people. This is horrible when you have limited options in the area for things like this. I have noticed similar issues when it came to getting keys made here.

In all my seventy-eight years, I don't believe anyone has ever spoken to me the way he did. I called to ask if he would be able to repair my machine if my local dealer could not. He proceeded to tell me how "silly" (his words) I was for asking him that. I was confused. He wouldn't allow me to explain anything. He talked over me, eventually telling me to take my machine elsewhere, and hung up on me. I had never said an unkind word to him! I sat there stunned. This man is in serious need of counseling. Judging from Moye's reviews, I see that I am not the only person who has been on the receiving end of his nasty temper. I am related to a retired sewing machine repairman who told me that if someone made him mad, he would deliberately damage a customer's machine. I don't know if Moye would do that or not, but I certainly would not trust him. And you people who paid for repairs and received non-functioning machines, three words for you: Better Business Bureau. Moye is not an associate but according to Google, BBB will still accept feedback. It's free and easy to file online. Takes about 3 minutes. Also, small claims court is available.

Before any of that was finalized, we asked if they could help us remove the old couch because my husband has back issues and is due for surgery. They said yes.... was suppose to be here yesterday but they couldn't get the bed apart.... today they were 10 minutes late, that's fine. But the DM flat out refused to get couch out, was rude about it and said "we aren't delivering this, we are leaving." Appears his employees are afraid of him. Please dont ever shop with them, as long as this guy is DM, business will always suck.

A few gentlemen were outside whom welcomed us in. For this to be a large warehouse, they didn't really have alot of options available. The options were decent, but nothing I was looking for or comparable to the website. I think it could use some work on the outside and with the inventory and that might help get more customers in, as it was very empty. The employees were very helpful and friendly, which I really appreciated!
