Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and directed to a tablet for check-in, where I answered questions about my skin concerns. The option to specify the level of communication during the facial was genius! Next, I was brought to the "Before Glowbar" area to cleanse and wash my face. This concept is brilliant because it ensures you receive a full 30-minute custom facial without any fluff. The estheticians get right to work, maximizing the treatment time. My facial included: * A light chemical peel * Cavitation, which uses ultrasonic vibrations to deep clean pores * Targeted high-frequency treatment for a chin blemish * Microcurrent tool to stimulate collagen production * Red light treatment * A mini face massage with moisturizer, topped off with SPF and Aquaphor for my lips. The glow afterward was amazing, and my esthetician, Amy, was fantastic. If I lived in the area, I would consider getting a membership, especially because you can use it at any location. Before I ever lived in NY, I heard about how Bonnie gives "the best facials in existence" from my entire family. No surprise that she has all 5 star reviews on Yelp. The experience was somehow even better than anticipated. Bonnie is a real master of her craft. She can and will restore even the most inflamed irritates and stressed out skin. She has all the knowledge and training of from her years working in dermatology, her expertise is clear, but so is her CARE. She cares for her clients and their skin. Also she is so kind and sweet. We did a deep cleaning (because my skin needed it!) A peel and LED light therapy. With Blue and red light. The Blue kills the bacteria and red heals the skin and its anti aging, but with one treatment you get a nice glow. While I don't care much about having a tan, I do value the bacteria zapping benefits and found the warm light to be very relaxing. Can't tell you how bad my skin has been due to stress and masks etc., It feels really wonderful to have my skin deeply and thoroughly cleaned by a professional. Not only does my skin feel and look better, I feel more relaxed. Bonnie also gave me tips to improve my skin care regimen, let me know my current moisturizer is clogging my pores, but suggested a few to try and even wrote out a very helpful post-facial care summary for me! Bonnie was so lovely and so careful. She had a mask and visor on, every patient completes a COVID safety form *before* their appointment and theres plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks when you get there. I had a few painful ear pimples from mask wearing and Bonnie got them (without me having to she did cleaned every zit behind my ears under my chin on along my hairline). She also gave me a clean mask to wear home! Bring an extra mask so you don't have to put your dirty mask on your newly cleaned face! She does have plenty extra in case you forget. I know times are stressful and tough right now, but if you've been thinking about prioritizing your self-care and skincare, I couldn't recommend Bonnie enough!

During the intake process, it was super apparent that Julie wanted to understand how to best approach my treatment. She asked me what my goals were by the end of the facial, & I had answered that I wanted to better understand my skin in general, and I wanted to feel relaxed during my time there. Julie made sure both of those objectives were met! She had let me know that I had some dry areas (which I had no idea) and made many recommendations for different products to use -- I had been using cleansers that were way too harsh for my face. All of her suggestions she documented on my forms & invoice that were sent back to me for my reference, which I really appreciated! I feel like I understand my face much better, and my skin is looking SO much clearer and brighter! I felt very relaxed heading out to my car and should really partake in massages more often. She had a few good pressure points beneath the skull that really alleviated some tension and the time she spent on my calf muscles really helped with the leg tension I have been having from working 8 plus hours sitting at a desk. The reason for the two star deduction - I bought a groupon for the sixty minute massage and at checkout also purchased a gift of one, two massages at $110.00 or so total, not bad. When I went to the receptionist after the massage and wanted to set up my second massage they said the gift can not be used for yourself. It honestly felt like they were rushing me out the door and weren't even interested in securing repeat business. The receptionist went on to say it reads limit one per customer.....hey I am not going to argue my way into a massage that I already paid for not worth the stress espescially after a massage but right on the fine print it reads, "Can only be redeemed by yourself. Well, which is it... a gift to be used for someone else or to be redeemed/used by youself? The place missed out on $55.00 either way as I already received my partial credit back from groupon and will not be returning. If you come here I am sure you may have a nice massage but why bother giving them your business when the owner was right behind the receptionist and didn't say two words during this entire transaction. (If you ask me they are trying to draw in new business with the gift purchases but I am pretty sure I am not the first person they rubbed the wrong way in hindsight pun intended) Do yourself a favor and go to any other massage location.
