She begins each session with a conversation so that she can truly meet you where you are and provide a wholistic approach to what you need to heal. Whether that is an emotional or physical release, a deepened connection with source, an energetic balancing or cleansing, or so on. Every session is unique to where I am at in my physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual bodies. She always seems to know what is wrong before I open my mouth, but she always holds space for me within her loving glow. Emily has an incredible way of making you feel instantly comfortable, even the most advanced of wall builders, like myself. I have broken down into tears before getting on the table, had massive physical releases, and healed in ways I thought weren't possible. She has guided me through deep emotional trauma as well as physical trauma (I had abdominal surgery to remove 15 tumors in 2016). I will say it's not all glitter and romance, there are often hard lessons to be learned and dealt with, and they can be difficult (but always necessary) and she guides you through it with light and love. I could go on and on, but really my words will mean nothing. What Emily offers is intuitive and experiential. Everyone's session is powerful, uniquely their own, and always far beyond what they expected. She is a true facilitator for your healing journey and I am blessed to have her in my life. First, if you see the business's Craigslist ads, you will notice a few elements that might give you the wrong idea about this place: - Ads feature multiple pictures of revealingly-clad, voluptuous young women; - Customers are advised that they have their choice of "5 Massuses (sic) daily"; - The ads mention the availability of a "table shower"; - The listings state that "Extra Services" are available and "we do everything"; - "Nuru massage" (ahem; look it up) is supposed to be available. If you think that all of these elements may be designed to lead prospective customers to think that something other than plain old massage goes on here, don't worry! Nothing "extra" happens at this place, there was only one (decently clothed, mature) "Massuse" (not 5) when I showed up, the place has no table shower, and no mention of "nuru" was made during my visit. Know what else was missing, though? Any semblance of an actual massage! As mentioned above, the 40-something attendant is a pleasant woman, but she is most definitely NOT a "masseuse"; she appears to have little (if any) knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques. She oils you up, then proceeds to drag her hands across your body -- ineffectually -- for about an hour. So, to sum up: Those hoping for a real massage will be disappointed, as will those who are hoodwinked by the ads into believing that this is a place for more, erm, adventurous activity. So no one will be happy... except, perhaps, the proprietor of this useless "spa", when he or she pockets your money.

It is a really cool experience to have someone passively stretching out your body for you. I would recommend Thai Yoga massage to anyone who wants to feel what its like to have your body properly stretched out by a professional. I asked Jen if she could give me a sample of all of her different massages that she performs. She was very accommodating to my request. Jen used a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue and Therapeutic massage techniques during our session together. I really enjoyed the long gliding strokes along my back of the Swedish massage. The Deep Tissue massage also felt great on my upper back and shoulders. I can't say enough good things about Jen. She is a very calming, compassionate person to talk to as well as an excellent massage therapist.
