Once again, she asked a few questions about how I was feeling and where I was feeling it. She was most interested in how I had responded to the first massage two weeks before. In fact, my lower back, legs and shoulders responded well last time, and I was ready for another strong stretching and deep tissue therapeutic hour. This time, except when I had to interact with her by resisting her pushing/pulling, I was more relaxed and was able to zone out and go somewhere within while she worked her magic. Marla dug deeper into my thighs which had absorbed the result of two herniated discs. Painful, but necessary to relieve stress and increase flexibility. Torquing my hips and legs to open space between my discs. Leaning her weight into my folded knees to help loosen the perpetual tightness in my lumbar spine. The time passed quickly, but at its end I felt great, and almost intoxicated from the work done. The spa allowed me to sit in a quiet room for a few minutes until that sensation ended. I was very pleased with his communication and thoroughness as we made arrangements for promotion, marketing, payment, and logistics. On the day of the event, I met with him and his helper and everything fell into place. Part of the arrangement we had for using the space was that I could be a participant in the event. This was absolutely my good fortune. Kyle is a soft-spoken communicator, but was completely able to keep the attention and engagement of the 16 participants. More importantly, he has a tremendous ability to help people move past some of their blocks, particularly guilt and shame, so they can really get in touch with themselves. We were getting eye contact from him after just a few sessions. The eye contact was meaningful - we "felt" him actually looking at us; it was like he finally knew that we were in the room with him and that we loved him. We have been with Rose for about a year now. During the spring and early summer, she kept saying that there was something wrong with my son's jaw. We started seeing a new speech therapist in July. The new speech therapist quickly diagnosed the problem: a weak jaw. Between Rose and the new speech therapist, my son went from barely being able to say a few words (single understandable words - such as apple) in June to talking in 3-4 word phrases (phrases that other people can understand) by the end of October. If you have an autistic child, I strongly encourage you to consider weekly sessions with Rose.

If your child is autistic, definitely consider Rosemary. First, early intervention therapy achieved minimal eye contact with my son. After about three sessions with Rose, my husband and I received 5-10 seconds of meaningful eye contact from our son. Being able to focus and look at us while we spoke for more than a second was a big accomplishment. Second, Rosemary knew that my son had jaw issues. Once we found an excellent private speech therapist, we learned that my son's jaw was weak (so Rosemary was proven correct). His tongue was doing all the work, so word pronunciation was near impossible. The speech therapist commenced strengthening exercises and Rosemary supported this by working on areas that affected him mouth. Within two weeks, words started pouring out of his mouth. He is improving faster than anyone anticipated; I firmly believe it is the combination of excellent therapy (OT, speech, and ABA) with Rosemary one time per week. Side Note: my husband said that if I stopped cranio sacral therapy for our son that he would divorce me. We were never the type of people that would believe that this type of therapy would make a difference....but our son's clear and convincing results speak for themselves.

My husband had an appointment in earlier January pre-scheduled he kept- and they charged him full non-member price on our card on file. They also charged us another monthly membership fee. My husband called and was told the manager was in a meeting. I called a few hours later- she was out to lunch. I called a bunch of hours later and was told she was available- and then- that she had actually left for the day. So I asked if anyone else could help us. This was almost $200 in charges I wasn't expecting at this point. Was told no. Asked for corporate- because I believed she was just avoiding us. Proven- since that she called. From the place- about an hour later. She was insanely rude- not apologetic- from the start. It definitely made me feel like being rude too- so I may have been. She very rudely told me my husband had already called and she refunded our monthly charge already. She did not want to call back- clearly. Also funny- we had scheduled a February massage and I got a text today that the massage therapist won't be available yet again (more than a month out) and I would need to reschedule. No thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere. Issues with scheduling are one thing. The complete lack of customer service I experience today is quite another and a reason I would not recommend elements massage to anyone. Final note- there's no phone number for corporate. Only an email.
