I haven't tried the brews here but this is one of my favorite coffee shops in East Nashville. The cold brew and iced vanilla latte are top notch and I love how they serve it with a big whiskey ice cube. The vibes are amazing to get some work done, catch up with friends, business meetings, etc. It is such a well designed, aesthetically pleasing coffee shop with such chill vibes. Its like a elevated library with good music. Service can be inconsistent and they seem to take their time here so not the spot for a quick grab and go coffee drink. I can also recommend the breakfast burritos here- the chorizo is delicious. Definitely a favorite I rotate through so check it out if you are in the area!

Amazing coffee and amazing staff. Been looking for a brew bar and came across this gem. My goal was to try different varieties of pour overs, and LWB did NOT disappoint. Gabby (Gabi?) was so helpful in helping me make a selection and was so knowledgeable. Always afraid that at "real" coffee shops, the staff will be snobs but that's not the case here. As for the coffee??? Superb! Like I said, a lot of different varieties, and the pour over menu rotates monthly. Atmosphere? Work environment friendly, with appropriate music. Not too loud, but enough noise to have a personal conversation without the person next to you hearing. Ample seating, clean restrooms, oh and it's next to a record store. Win-win. Based on customer service alone, I will go back, but I'm stoked to see what they have next month!

Half brewery half cafe and done right. Cute spot out in the Nations that had tons of seating to hangout in. Staff was friendly and a damn good latte was made by the barista the day I was in.

Three coffee shops in and I have found the place. Thanks to my son, the finder of great places. Wide open, chill music, chill people, a great place for meet ups or just getting some work done, lots of spaces to sit, good cup of coffee. Bar tender is relaxed and helpful, unpretentious. They are here to serve two things: coffee and beer. A great keep it simple recipe. Ahhhhh. What a peaceful place - dark colors welcoming you to settle in. Couldn't recommend it higher. No political messages or virtue signaling served here: refreshing and peaceful. Thank you for giving the community some living waters.

Ambiance 10/10 great place to settle in and get some work done with relaxing. Music was on, but not too loud. Plants everywhere and just all around calming. Service, meh. Maybe the guy was having an off day, but it seemed like I was a bit if a bother to make my coffee. $7 for a small ice vanilla latte with one large ice cube. I get the appeal and maybe I'll be back when I can sit longer and enjoy the space.

No flights allowed. You can only do 2, 5 oz pours per person. I waited in line for 30 minutes, got to the front and when I tried to order 4, 5oz pours I was asked who the other person was. I was confused. The server told me she could ring up all 4 though, and I could come back. "Wait, so, I would have to get back in line for 30 minutes to get the remaining two samples?" "Yes, I"m sorry" So if you want to try multiple beers here you have two options: - Buy full 16oz pours and get DUI-drunk (how silly is it that you can buy a 16oz pint but not 3, 5oz pours..which amount to LESS beer at 15 oz?) - Lie and say you are buying 5 oz pours for your friends Beer is very good, it's too bad the service is so aloof and pretentious. Not a fan of their logo either, looks like a pool filter company.

Super cute spot! Visiting from Portland, I was hesitant about the craft beer scene in Nashville but this place did not disappoint. There appeared to be a lot of locals doing work on their laptops and taking meetings. We just came in for a casual drink so it was great! There were good options for beer lovers and non-beer lovers or those adventurous to try a sour. The flavors were balanced and accurate to their descriptions. You should note- It is a brewery and that means it smells like they are brewing beer... I love that smell but a few folks in our group aren't used to it and so they had some aversion to the hop smell. Next time I'm in Nashville, I can't wait to go back!

Awesome brewery and coffee shop. Friendly staff and funky indoor outdoor space. They have cans of brews to go, great IPAs for sure. I got few beers and continued my brewery tour of Nashville. Definitely worth a stop and they open earlier than others.

Only been there for the coffee And it was great Not sure how much they have invested in their coffee equipment,, but they use it a coffee is great!! Beer selection is good too.

While Living Waters Brewing gets most of its press as a brewery, don't sleep on their coffee selection. Their chai with oat milk is one of my favorites in the city. I regularly stop by after yoga and it makes my morning. A sweat sesh and a chai is a perfect morning for me. Make the stop, get a coffee and if you're lucky they'll have a delicious food truck, burrito selection, or baked good.

You can find Living Waters Brewing at 1056 E Trinity Ln Ste 101, Nashville, TN 37216. This is in East Nashville which is more a region of the city than being east of Nashville proper. There's some limited parking out front and an additional lot in the back - I've come here on different days and times and haven't encountered a time where I wasn't able to find parking. Living waters has an interesting concept that I love - they do great coffee and they do great beer. I'm not sure how they staff with such a broad scope of business as they open quite early and close quite late. Whatever sacrifices they make are well worth my time, regardless. They have a great variety of beer, all good in my opinion, and they take a lot of care in making sure your coffee has the best quality standards. Yesterday morning I hit them for coffee - it was an espresso with milk - that was simply perfect. Coffees of this quality takes both skill and time but well worth it. Previously I've enjoyed quite a bit of beer from Living Waters. The other night I tried these: Highgate Imperial NEIPA 7.5% ABV - Well executed NEIPA with hazy tropical body, notes of coconut with a clean, slightly bitter dry finish. Multnomah Fruited Gose 6% ABV - Gose double-fruited with blueberry purée and blueberry muffins. A great poolside crusher this refreshing gose is sure to remind you of your favorite blueberry pastry and sweet tarts. Mille Imperial Milk Stout 9.3% ABV - This could get me drinking coffee stouts again, low bitterness roast coffee and sweet chocolate notes produces the perfect balance in this creamy thick stout. The service here is always quite good - they're always willing to make suggestions based on your likes. Kudos to this great brewery.

This spot was awesome. Love the chill coffeshop vibes while we were having beer. Would absolutely come.back to try some of the coffee drinks and cocktails. Their beer was also pretty great. In the top of Nashville brews thus far, esp for IPA lovers. Wish we could've taken home a pack but they were all sold out at the time. Will be back for a future release! The staff was nice and helpful. Would recommend a visit for sure!

Combo brewery/coffee shop, what more is there to say? The atmosphere is comfy library with absolute bops playing in the background. An excellent place to study, chill, and drink. The beer was exceptional. Best beer I've had in Nashville so far. Tried their selection of IPAs and was not disappointed. Didn't try coffee this visit but will definitely next time. Staff members were very friendly. Will visit again.

Definitely my top five favorite coffee shops in nashville the location. I frequent. The most is the East nashville location. The vibe and ambience is always superb. The retail area is so nice so clean and various aesthetic definitely adds onto the nice five I enjoy looking at it all the time, and I love that they have such a large selection of merchandise, even candles. Let's get to the best part. I always order the honey bear latte. It's the best. I don't care all year around. I get it especially during pumpkin season. I get the honey bear pumpkin so good! My second favorite, which I low-key want to gatekeep, but I won't Actually, it's my first favorite, but like I said, I wanna keep it, but I won't. Is the ice miso caramel latte with oat milk. The flavors are so bomb and out of this world I was very hesitant to try it at first, but oh my God when I want a latte this is the latte that I want. That's the first thing I think about when I wake up and that's the first thing I get on my way to work. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it! I also very much enjoy the breakfast sandwich sandwiches, breakfast bagel, and the breakfast burrito especially the breakfast burritos!! Try it! if you haven't you're gonna love it!

The coffee was so good that I actually had two drinks: I started with a Havana Latte with my meal and followed it up with a Chai Latte. Chai is one of my all-time favorite drinks, and I absolutely loved theirs--it has a wonderful, truly artisanal flavor. As for the food, the breakfast was incredibly delicious. My girlfriend Isabel and I literally ordered the exact same omelette, and we were both so happy with how good it tasted. I would come back a thousand times to eat here and try more things on the menu. Really love it!

What a hidden gem in the middle of Nashville. There are so many famous breakfast spots here, but this place has absolutely nothing to envy them for. When we arrived it was pretty busy and we had to wait around 20 minutes, but trust me, it was completely worth it. They text you when your table is ready, so you can walk around the area while you wait. We ordered the Broadbent omelet, a matcha latte, Havana latte, and chai latte so we could try different options, and everything was delicious. The omelet was super fluffy, packed with flavor, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Havana latte had that sweet, bold Cuban coffee flavor that makes it perfect, the chai latte was super creamy and perfectly spiced, and the matcha latte had the perfect balance without being overly sweet. After that, my boyfriend ordered the everything bagel and I got the flourless chocolate cake, and wow... the bagel was perfectly toasted, full of flavor, and had an amazing texture. The flourless chocolate cake was easily one of the best desserts I've ever had: rich, intensely chocolatey, moist, and decadent without feeling too heavy. It's definitely worth coming here for breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is super cozy, the service was excellent, and the whole experience felt relaxed but special at the same time. If you're visiting Nashville, Frothy Monkey absolutely needs to be on your list.
