    Buyer Beware - Living Spaces "Care Free" Protection Plan I purchased Broadway dining chairs from Living Spaces under Order SO-012413720 along with their 5-Year Care Free Protection Plan, expecting reasonable coverage if something went wrong. Under normal residential use, eight chairs from the same purchase failed at the exact same structural point -- the caster mounting assembly at the base of the chair legs. The chairs became unstable and unusable. I filed a claim with the warranty administrator (Uniters North America) under Claim C3251449. A technician eventually inspected the chairs and confirmed repeated structural failures affecting multiple chairs. After the inspection there was no repair, no replacement, and no resolution plan. The claim was ultimately denied. The explanation given was that the damage was both "accidental breakage" and "accumulation of damages." Those explanations do not match the actual condition of the chairs. The protection plan specifically lists structural failure of components such as furniture legs as covered. Because the claim remains unresolved, I have now: * Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau * Submitted the claim to the insurer backing the protection plan * Documented the claim history (Claim C3251449) If the issue cannot be resolved through these channels, the protection plan agreement provides for arbitration through the American Arbitration Association. Living Spaces corporate customer care is welcome to contact me if they wish to review the situation and resolve it directly. Bottom line: eight identical chairs failed at the same structural point and the protection plan has not produced a resolution. If you are considering purchasing the Living Spaces Care Free Protection Plan, read the fine print carefully before assuming structural failures will be handled. This review reflects my personal experience with this purchase and claim process.

    I was looking for furniture and my friend recommended this place. The store itself is huge. It has all types of furniture. It is divided based on the room you were looking for. They have all different price ranges. As soon as you arrive, someone greets you. I walked throughout the store, trying the furniture out. You can definitely spend at least an hour in there. The sales reps weren't pushy. They did offer help, but as soon as I said I was just looking, they would leave me alone. Once I was ready , Huey was able to assist me. He did a great job, helping me set up my purchase and delivery. Parking is available on site

    BEWARE purchase instore and NOT online. I placed an order for my parents arrival and today was delivery. The bed was sent with wrong items to build mismatched. Screws 4 missing on one leg what the heck ?! They are old folks in their 80s and coming in before Christmas. Their customer service online doesn't resolve anything asap. They say we have opened a case. I chose them because I made purchase months ago in person. Everything was smooth the first time. After that now it's a total nightmare !!!! I am asking for a refund and for them to pick up the pcs left.

    Before my recent move, I went into living spaces to look for a couch and living room cabinets. I was surprised when walking in at how large the store actually was. The woman at the entrance behind the counter asked us if there was anything she could help us with and offered us cookies (they were tasty). We didn't need help at the time and decided to just walk through all of the furniture. As we went along, the team members checked on us but generally left us alone until we went and asked a question. I decided on a couch and they brought an employee over to the one I had selected and we completed the transaction there. The process was very easy and the delivery process was explained to me. The delivery was scheduled for weeks out as they said they had to get it from another state but I called the week before delivery to ask if they could deliver earlier and they delivered the next day. I also loved that I was able to track the driver's status on the way to my apartment so I didn't have to wait around until they arrived. One thing about this store was that they had a ton of bedroom/ office furniture/ couches but didn't have as many accent pieces as I would've hoped for. Overall, it was a good store and I'd go back if I was in need of more furniture.

    I came back again for Memorial Day and I still love this place! Great selection on everything here. I came with my parents and they fell in love with a certain bed frame here and already ordered it! Always love the children's play area and how many workers that are in here to make sure the kids are okay. Plenty okay workers walking asking if we need any assistance and since the selections on everything is so much you can find what you're looking for in your budget.

    My wife and I ordered over $5000.00 worth of bedroom furniture from Bel furniture at 16940 N. Frwy…read more(I-45 Service Rd) The furniture was delivered to my home on 2/13/2026. The person in charge of the moving was named Hector.and he had one other mover with him. Hector said he worked for Bel but as I found out later that was a lie. Hector had a very large box (contained the bed headboard) that he was holding in a flat position and was going to carry up the spiral staircase. My wife caught him before he started up the staircase and told him he needed help. If he tried to go up the staircase the way he was carrying the box he wiill knock or damage the artwork on the wall. Ignoring her completely, he took off up the stairs and knocked a ceramic piece of artwork off the wall. It shattered on the stairway. His instant reaction was to blame us saying we should have removed the artwork from the wall. I Immediately told him no, that's not true. He should have had help carrying the box. He had another mover right there with him. Hector says he will pay for the artwork and said he would call me on Monday (2/16). I gave him a download from WayFare that showed how much the artwork costs. The cost to replace the broken piece was $376.80. Wayfare will not sell any less than 3 pieces. $376.80 is the minimum it will cost to replace the piece they broke. Monday comes and of course Hector doesn't call so I left him a message. He still didn't call. I then called a manager named Alfredo. Alfredo resolved a separate item associated with this same delivery where these two guys damaged a dresser mirror to the point it had to be replaced. I asked him to get a hold of Hector and his boss and resolve the issue. Told him I needed to hear back before 5:00 that day on what they would do to resolve it. Never heard a thing from Alfredo or Hector. Friday (2/20) some woman, we don't even know, called us saying she was Hector's wife and she was going to Zell to us $130.00. Keep in mind we were under the mis-connception that Bel was going to resolve this issue because Hector lied and said he worked for Bel Furniture for 15 years. My wife objected, telling her that is not the cost to replace the item. Figuring that was all she was going to get, my wife finally relented and said OK pay me. The woman immediately got rude and condescending and started talking down to my wife saying she couldn't do it right now. So we hung up on her. We heard nothing further from anyone at Bel despite calls and emails (including the owner) that went in un-answered. Finally on Wednesday (2/18) I was put in touch with someone named Scott Bellard who was going to resolve the issue. He was supposedly the District manager for Bel. He never did anything or call me back although I requested him to. We were Zelled $130.00 from Hector's wife ( I guess) and that was how Bel preferred to handle this. Keep in mind the owner of Bel furniture Sid Mollai was copied on and made aware of all of this and never once contacted us. So the end result is: Bel employees come into our house, damage it, blame us and pay a 3rd of the cost to repair the damage and not only can you not get ahold of anyone or get a return call from Bel furniture they are apparently good with this resolution. I've never experienced such poor customer service, dishonesty and unprofessionalism from a company. We of course will never buy another thing from Bel furniture.
