Then the representative spoke with her manager and somehow the couch was "magically" in stock. I chose to order one. I ordered it October 16th. At first they told me it would be in and delivered AT THE LATEST Nov 7th. No call. I called living spaces and they said now it wouldn't be in until November 26th. No call or update AGAIN. I called living spaces and they told me it wouldn't be in until THE END OF DECEMBER. I canceled and got a refund. Will never be ordering from living spaces again. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I wish I read the reviews before shopping there. This place is horrible! That is why their Yelp reviews are so bad! They missed the delivery today after I took off work. Of course to prepare for the delivery, I emptied out the old furniture in my condo, and literally the floor is all I have to relax on for the next day or 2 or 3! They cannot reschedule my delivery until tonight (after 8 pm to set up a new date) for MAYBE tomorrow OR the following day...they don't know yet! They will only give me a 6 hour window for delivery but they don't know what day. They refuse to refund the delivery charge ($99), but if I messed up they would charge me 10% (restocking fee) = $150!!!! They do not list any store phone numbers, so you can ONLY talk to the 800 number. Chuck is the salesman who messed this up at the 67th Avenue store in Phoenix, AZ. Parents ordered a bedroom set, they delivered the wrong color bed, then said it was out of stock, then said it was in stock. Brought the new bed and it was the wrong size, now waiting for a new bed. The furniture is not ultra high quality, but it is reasonably priced and of adequate quality for most purposes. Think upscale IKEA. It's a price and quality compromise that's beneficial in this era when so many DIY television shows pressure consumers to constantly change styles and colors. What to like? The chocolate chip cookies offered when you enter. A free beverage station featuring Starbucks coffee, Tazo tea, and orange or cucumber enhanced ice water. A kids area where you can check in your kids to play video games... while you shop. Cool auto themed strollers for the little ones, available in one or two kid models. The clearance center. Helpful and friendly no pressure NON COMMISSION BASED sales staff. Delivery is available, costing $99 regardless of how much or how little you buy. Either a really good or really bad deal. You can also transport furniture yourself. This is a large store, with a huge showroom and a big clearance area in the back that I'm told most Living Spaces lack. This seems to be the location that will most likely have furniture is stock when Scottsdale... do not. I'm not anxious to return (of course), but at least I now know I can enjoy a cookie and a coffee next time I visit. read more

Update: The furniture did finally arrive. Not first thing Saturday morning as they stated it would. It arrived around noon. The delivery guys were OK, but their hands were dirty and this was white furniture and left finger prints all over the table and chairs. Extreme lack of communication since the beginning. First we were told couch was in stock by sales associate. After we made the purchase we were told it would be 2 weeks. After 2 weeks past we were not reached out to. Instead we called and were told "I'm sorry that 2 weeks was incorrect. It will actually be 6-8 weeks." After 6-8 weeks again no communication from company. We reached out to company and were told September 4th. Called September 4th and they said "yes, it arrived yesterday but we have to unpack it. It'll be about a week." Called after a week and a half after hearing nothing back and were told mid to late October. First off I was completely confused as to why someone told me the 4th. We went into the store and the woman told us "You know what might have happened? I think we probably did get it and accidentally damaged it, so had to reorder." Hold on now, did that happen? Are we just saying that might have happened? I still don't know. Now, I'm not sure the training but I feel that making up excuses never ever solves the problem. I would rather have been told anything else. *now I just want to say here that I know due to Covid there are delays with some things and I would have been completely understanding and sympathetic to that, but never ever was that something that they told me. Instead I was told the information above...an assumption. We received our couch October 1st. This is how the delivery went. We were given a window of 6pm-midnight and they arrived at 6:04. I was extremely happy with the punctuality and was as you could imagine excited to get the couch. They unpacked it and it was the complete wrong couch. We called the company letting them know about the mixup thinking that the wrong box must have been put on the truck. Instead the woman told me "Oh I'm sorry it must have been a mislabel. We have 5 in stock in California so we will do the exchange the following Thursday." She didn't even offer to reach out to the warehouse until I directly asked them to. Came back with no information except the following Thursday would be our new delivery date. The very nice delivery men however did come back to the house and they informed us that our couch had been put on the wrong truck and it would be delivered within the hour. Thank you. Honest Communication. The next delivery men efficiently completed the exchange. This was the worst communication I have ever received from a company, and I promise you I am not a person who typically complains. I did not feel any type of trust. Nothing they told me was accurate. Ugh- I am so sad to give this a bad score. They have so much cool stuff but once they have your money - good luck getting your product. We ordered an outdoor couch that was then delayed 3 months. We decided to try again and found an oversized chair that was "in stock" abs could be delivered in 5 days- ordered, paid - and scheduled delivery. Then all of a sudden the deliveries were delayed (three times) and now they are saying they don't have it and it will "probably" be another month before they have it again and so we can't even schedule delivery until it's back in stock- but don't worry they will charge you 25% "restocking fee" to cancel your order, which is over 200 on a small couch! Edith was great! She was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Delivery was typical and the delivery men were nice. However, my issue began with the item being damaged and the process to do a simple exchange for an undamaged product. In the store Edith explained that if anything was wrong with the product I could simply call the toll free number and an exchange would be set up within 7 days of delivery. I emailed living spaces and kept receiving multiple "employees" emailing me because the initial person on the previous email were "no longer available". Even with me asking from the beginning for a undamaged replacement the employees kept offering other solutions, instead of what I asked for. Sometimes people don't want a discount they just want what they paid for, a quality undamaged product!!! Then I called the hotline and Alma was no better, she did the same exact thing verbally. They moved things around so I could see them together or in different light. Monica helped me choose the right fabric for my chair and find the perfect match sofa. We ordered a couch and ottoman a month ago. We just bought a new house and we planed to have the couch delivered the first week of September. When I placed the order over the phone I was told that would be plenty of time and that we were all set to have the couch delivered in a month... A month later I've heard nothing from Living Spaces, when I try to track the order all it says is TBD. I try for 3 days to contact someone regarding the order on the phone and on the chat service as suggested. When I finally get ahold of someone they tell me my order is on back order?? I was never told that my item was back ordered, so I don't understand why it suddenly is and why I was never notified. When I asked about when that meant we would be getting the items (as it's already been 5 weeks) I was given a vague "it takes 6-8 weeks usually for back orders so maybe you'll get it in 2 weeks". MAYBE. So now we have a new house with no furniture in the living room for who knows how long? We are left scrambling trying to decide if we wait or try to find another option and cancel this order. I understand that items like this can be on back order but that should have been discussed at the time of the purchase. We most likely would not have made that purchase if we had known it was back ordered. Definitely not a pleasant experience. Never again! Their customer service and management told us to commit insurance fraud and slice our couch when the material started pilling and living spaces didn't want to deal with it. We purchased an entertainment center, a bedroom set with mattress, another mattress, 3 couches, a dinning table, 7 dinning chairs. But, we learned our lesson and we will never buy from them again. Almost everything has had some kind of issue. We are a combined family. After divorces we both left our furniture with the ex and started our lives over again. So when we met, dated, and decided to buy a house together we needed furniture to fill our big beautiful home. Living spaces was down the street and their furniture seemed high quality. We bought many rooms worth over the years. Maybe this company was good, or maybe their easy financing was a draw. Probably the later. The furniture seems nice but we have had more warranty issues than I've ever heard of. After months of dealing with faulty "high end" leather couches the corporate office made it right, but it took months! In store, the staff is trained to be super friendly. But if you try to bring a warranty issue (this was different ones) to their in store management the manager will fight you to the bitter end until you end up give up and walk out. Here's what I've noticed after spending many hours in living spaces over the years. 1) don't buy anything that isn't solid wood. No sofas, chairs, mattresses, nothing. It will need warranty repair and you will be screwed. If it is solid wood, do research and check the craftsmanship before buying. 2) living spaces furniture can be found elsewhere. Living spaces takes other brand furniture, changes the name, and sells it. We bought couches here and got them to price match their competitor once we were able to prove to them that we knew they did this and the couches were the exact same. 3) Warranty sucks! The couches mentioned above was our first warrranty issue with living spaces when the "all leather" (turned out to be partial leather) seats started ripping at the seams within a year. They made it right but it took months to do and talking to managers bosses over and over again until we got high enough in the food chain that something was done. 4). The salespeople are young and friendly but they are still sales people. Do not believe anything they say unless you GET IT IN WRITING! They will talk up warranty, delivery, etc. Do not believe them. Believe the reviews on here instead, because it's more accurate. 5) living spaces is a glorified Kons or rent to own. Their products are ok but their draw is the no interest financing of what appears to be quality furniture. The problem is, it isn't top quality. Yes, their furniture looks nice but it is most likely cheaply made and you will be stuck with cheap furniture very soon when there is an issue and you don't have the energy to spend months of daily calling to fight warranty. read more

Buyer Beware! Bought quite a bit of furniture about 2 and a half years ago for my new home. Purchased two twin beds for my girls. After the delivery crew delivered and assembled the beds I noticed an issue with one of the beds. The delivery guys were aware of it but we're trying to leave anyway. I refused delivery on that one bed and living spaces had to send a different delivery crew with another one later that week. Two years later my daughter informs me the leg on her bed had came off. Upon inspection I noticed the delivery guys had put a drywall screw through the side of the leg to attach it to the bed because the main bolt must have been stripped. Very disappointing to know you spend lots of money on furniture just for it to be assembled wrong and knowing the delivery crew also knew it was wrong to leave it like that and just figure out a way to band aid the assembly knowing the customer probably wouldn't find out for quite a while. If you purchase from living spaces and have it delivered I highly suggest you do a very thorough inspection. I'm sure because it's been a while living spaces will not try to make this right.it's upsetting to know that I have purchased numerous living room sets and bedroom sets from this company and actually had to pay for delivery and set up. read more

After months of searching, we FINALLY found the right dining room set at Living Spaces. We went everywhere (as you can see from my previous reviews) and were having no luck, either nice sets for $$$ or cheap, bad veneer work for $. All of that went away when we stopped at Living Space. Our sales rep, Eddie, was very helpful and friendly. I had questions about pieces from variations of the same collection and he researched to see if they could accommodate me. We ended up finding an awesome table, 4 chairs, a bench style seat, and a self-hiding leaf. As we encountered at other stores, the bench was usually an add on price to the set price but not at LS. We got the entire set for $595.00! I was floored! I had to do some thinking about the set because this deal seemed too good to be true. Eddie was understanding and went through our options if we did decide to move forward. The deal turned out to NOT be too good to be true and we came back the next weekend and bought the set. If you purchase before 3 PM that day, you can take it home same day. Otherwise you can pick it up the next business day. We got it home and assembled it ourselves and were blown away. The set is from/manufactured by Ashley Furniture and is HEAVY. The set does utilize wood veneer but it is very well done. The table is very solid (we almost couldn't flip it right side up after assembling it it is so heavy/solid) and looks amazing! We will be back to LS in the future for sure! read more

Simply choose your chair, then pay for it (careful not to click 'yes' on their credit card screen, allowing them to spam text you), then drive over to the other side of their warehouse where you'll wait for 45 minutes while they find the chair you bought, and shove it in your SUV. They offer Interior Designers a 5% trade discount... so by the time you fill out their forms and jump through hoops, you might as well just click purchase a chair at CB2 and skip the 5% and the 30 minute drive to Tolleson. I never write bad reviews, but my experience with this company has been really bad. The sales people at the store were very nice and helpful. No complaints there. But all my furniture was supposed to be delivered two weeks later...and that didn't happen. I would have bought elsewhere had I known it would take over a month to get couches. Their systems and processes are horrible, to say the least. And no, covid has nothing to do with not having good systems and processes in place. Two weeks pass, and the day before my expected delivery they inform me my two couches are not coming. The two most important things we ordered, and we sold all of our furniture anticipating that delivery date! The gal said her dept doesn't receive orders til the day before delivery, and that's why I wasn't notified ahead of time it wasn't coming. See what I mean about horrible systems and processes?! Why isn't some dept (any dept...idc) told the couches are backordered when they're ordered, or within 24-48 hours?!?? So the gal says on June 25 they will be delivered in early July. On July 15 I finally get a text to schedule my delivery on July 17 or later. Except...the drop down window with the date selection doesn't work! Didn't work on my phone in the text they sent, didn't work on my laptop when I was able to pull up the order. Just doesn't work. Then I tried to call bcz now I'm panicked they will never deliver since their delivery link doesn't work. The 1st time I call I hold for 3 min and then it disconnects me. Of course. I then call 5 more times and it's a busy signal. I wait half an hour and call back and finally get thru. I hold about 15 min and then get to talk to someone. Who proceeds to tell me I only paid $99 for delivery so if I want delivery on Fri I will have to pay $20 more. I said, I'm looking at the receipt and it clearly shows I paid $119 for weekend delivery. And they were originally supposed to deliver it all on FRI June 26! She says she'll get an override to approve me not paying +$20. Gee thanks. We'll see if they actually deliver it in 2 days. The positive side is I will say everyone I talked to and have dealt with to this point have all been very nice and pleasant to speak with. So they have great employees. We ordered a dresser that they did not have stock that was $450 when they delivered it the dresser was very poor quality. It had dents and looked like it was spray painted and damaged then spray painted over that. Not only that, the delivery company they use damaged our furniture and walls trying to bring it in our house. We returned the dresser only to get another one delivered that was in worse condition. We sent this back again and a 3rd time they sent us another damaged and horrible dresser that had missing painted spots. Not only that the delivery company didn't even attach the hardware on the last delivery! Factor in tax and delivery charge and this is over $500!!! I doubt any employee of Living Spaces would buy this type of quality for that price. After filing a dispute with the delivery company they said they would compensate us for the damages to our home and would send a check in the mail. Non existent customer support. You have to wait 25-30 minutes to reach someone by phone and even then they will not provide any information or provide any support on discontinued items they no longer carry. I purchased several items in 2017 including two power touch nightstands. Within a year, one of the nightstands power boxes failed. They sent a replacement power box under warranty which I had to install myself. Recently the other nightstands power box failed. I called to order the same replacement part and expected/understood I would have to pay(no longer under warranty)... no big deal. However, they now no longer sell this nightstand. Because it is no longer under warranty and they no longer sell it, they wouldn't help me with getting the replacement power box component. I then asked for the manufacturer name assuming I could order the part direct. The lady refused to give me the name, stating company policy! This doesn't make any sense. Avoid purchasing anything with electrical components from Living Spaces. They will not support you or assist with getting replacement parts if these components fail. read more

We ordered 4 outdoor chaise lounge chairs from Living Spaces On April 13th. They confirmed my order and said delivery would be between April 27th-May 4th. I called today to check on my order because they hadn't sent a delivery confirmation. The lady on the phone said they were back ordered and couldn't tell me if or when they would ship. We bought a whole bedroom set and they convinced us to buy a mattress from them with the promise of 10 years warranty , well it didn't turn that way, we filed a warranty claim on August 23rd, 2 days later they left a message stating that somebod will call or email to schedule a visit to check the mattress within 24 hours, a month passed by and no calls no emails, I called back 4 times on a 10 days period and left messages to Julia and she never returned the calls to let us know the status of the claim. On Oct 2nd at 6:00am a guy called to let us know that He will stop @ 9:00am to check the mattress, he showed up and put a string on the mattress after that the guy asked my wife to sign a paper and left, his visit lasted no more that minutes, I tried to talk to him on the phone and he claim that couldn't understand me and passed the phone to my wife and left. On Oct 6th someone left a voicemail saying that it was no defects on the mattress, really??? Even a blind person will the damage on it, you sit on it and you can hear and feels the damaged springs. Very disappointing that Living Spaces sold this trash with the promise of the best warranty on mattresses. The worst company to deal with! Terrible customer service- extremely rude manager(Charlie) and associate (Justin) at the Scottsdale location. Delivered the wrong dresser color, showed them pictures of the item delivered and they lectured me on Grey tones. To say the least I was very offended by all actions. The condescending tone that was used on us and witnessed on another customer blew my mind. They wouldn't waive the 10% restocking fee on the dresser for exchange on another dresser. As one of the other reviews said, I do not typically write negative reviews for companies; I try and give them the benefit of the doubt. Simply due to their warranty, I will NEVER buy another item from this place again. The warranty on the couch is a joke, VIP Care, as they want you go give such crazy descriptions of what the stain in, not to mention at every point as soon as you say something generic or ambiguous, they say oh you are not 100% sure so we cannot come out to clean the item. When I escalated the issue, believe it or not, the rep said she did not know thei escalation procedure, as they are helping living spaces with this VIP Care by taking it over from a company who no longer wanted to do it. Buyers be ware !!! i ordered a sofa, they deliver the wrong color because they ran out of the color and decided to give me another color without informing me. i reordered the sofa again, they delivered the wrong color again and i was told the dye changes every time they make a new batch. this went on for five months. read more

My wife, 11-yr old and I all went to Living Spaces last weekend to shop for a new couch. My wife won a Living Spaces gift card and we needed a new couch pretty badly. Going to furniture stores can be both fun and intimidating. You usually run into salespeople that are pushy, not necessarily rude or mean, but just pushy. I get it somewhat, they are there to force a sale on you. NOT Living Spaces. We walked around their large center for 2-3 hours. We went in to look at a couple of couches we saw online. We could have purchased there because we knew what we were looking for...until we went to the center. The staff here was AWESOME. No pressure to buy anything and constantly offering us drinks and cookies. Much appreciated. They answered all of our questions. The only time I felt like I had to say no more than once was when the extended care coverage came up. Even then though, we politely said no twice and that was it. We definitely are going to Living Spaces the next time we need any piece of furniture. The prices were decent, the service was great...and we ended up getting a great deal on a couch we did not see online. Delivery was in the time window promised and the delivery was quick and easy.
