What you need to know: I have experienced bi-lateral foot pain for the past 5 years. My arches felt bruised, as if a baseball bat had been taken to them. It affected my daily work, my opportunities for recreation, and my sleep. Over the last 2 years I have semi-aggressively sought treatment from many sources. My visit to The Good Feet Store was my last attempt to escape surgery and I was very skeptical of the story/process being shared with me. I have waited for one week to write this review so as to not make a proclamation in error. After one week of continuous use of The Good Feet Store system of orthotics, I am almost completely pain free! I noticed my posture change, the inflammation in my feet reduce, and the chronic sense of bruised arches slowly fade away. Presently, after 7 days, i don't cringe when having to walk. I have a "normal" gate instead of excessive pronation. This product has surpassed my expectations. It was expensive, but with the relief I've gained to this point, worth every dollar. The general practitioner failed me, the Podiatrist failed me, the Physical Therapy failed me, the Chiropractor failed me. OTC orthotics, custom orthotics, "special" doctor-only orthotics, the Dr. Scholl's incredible foot analyzer machine have all failed me. Nike, New Balance, Sauchony, and Kuru all failed me. But, The Good Feet Store system, and work from Keyon, have provided consistent relief and I expect it to get better as more time passes.

They aren't saccharine sweet, they are just REAL. Their wait times are unreal! Most, if not all of our doctor appointments are typically, 90% waiting 10% issue(s).With Dr. Stepnicka & Co. it's 5% waiting (if even that) 95%+ is spent addressing concerns, needs, desired outcomes, & casual conversation about our lives sprinkled in (hers & ours...what!!?). In our experience, other doctors barely seem to want to hear your issue(s) or so it seems. They are trying to punch through appointments. Dr. Stepnicka is too but she doesn't make us feel that way. The nurses will apologize if she doesn't come right in & they apologize again if she is 5+ min behind (that's crazy! I can't remember ever waiting more than 5 or so minutes). We easily wait 30+ min in ANY other doctors offices & that's just the exam room wait. Between my elderly father & myself we have been to too many doctors visits to count; we are well versed. Dr. Stepnicka is easy to talk to, makes herself available (not just lip service), has & will move her schedule around if you feel it's something urgent. She is unparalleled in her response time with call backs & portal messages. I hate that a couple people had bad experiences but I can attest this is NOT their standard of care. When I encounter any issue with other doctors offices I will try to gently bring up my issue & address the attitude (how's your day?) We are all human & have bad days. If an issue is frustrating & not being resolved to our satisfaction I will bring it up to the doctor. They typically are not aware of what's going on with their 1st impression front office or financial/billing. They want & need to know; word of mouth is their bread & butter. I try to put myself in the situation of the rude person & don't waste breath if it's not being resolved. 1 bad experience or 1 apple having a bad day or even 1 bad apple shouldn't spoil the bunch. I know this is a lot but Dr. Stepnicka has gone above & beyond for our Dad & that should be recognized & shouted from the roof top! We heart you, Dr. Stepnicka! Hmm, maybe I should have left a 1 star review so we can have her to ourselves.
