I have been ill since I was a child and growing up with pain is never fun. It's also never fun when you're young and trying to convince doctors you're in pain. It's easy for them to jump to conclusions. I've seen multiple pain doctors but none that tackle the body and medicine in a manner that Dr. Ding does. I have always believed that eastern medicine is an amazing tool and can do great things, why else has it survived this long, and western medicine helps to fill in those gaps. Too much of either can lead to trouble though. Having someone who can feel the pain I feel and truly believe my struggles is the validation I have yet to get and wanted for so long. I don't have to prove myself here. Dr. Ding is willing to work with me and, together, work on a plan to get me off the medication I have wanted to be free of for many years. I have seen the results and know it will take time, but I feel incredibly blessed to have someone who I believe can get me to that point. Dr. Kimes is a stellar example of what all doctors should strive to be! He is patient, understanding and compassionate. He takes time to personally review your history, answers all questions and values your feedback. Before I found Dr. Kimes I had all but given up that I would ever be successfully treated for my chronic pain due to my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome... I had completely lost hope for the future. Other pain management doctors I had seen in the past either would not treat my condition, offered me treatments that weren't even useful for my type of pain, or worse- treated me as if I was a criminal or a drug seeker. Dr. Kimes was so different! He got me into see a proper Physical Therapist, immediately got me the braces I needed and beyond filling my medications... he offered me unique and innovative treatments that I had never been offered in the past. I feel as if I am truly in good hands with Dr. Kimes and I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Even though I have to live with my chronic pain, at least I now know that I have someone in my corner to help me through it! I cannot recommend him enough. Why is a secretary giving medical advice or speaking for Dr. Kimes, a secretary with no medical degree. She is unethical and Dr. Kimes allowing this behavior causing further economic loss, damages, as well as agony that required emergency intervention as a direct result of hindering my ability to speak to my doctor. In Georgia, medical malpractice claims are governed by specific statutes. According to Georgia Code § 51-1-27, a successful medical malpractice claim must establish three elements: 1. Duty: The existence of a doctor-patient relationship, establishing the physician's duty to provide care. 2. Breach: A deviation from the appropriate standard of care by the physician. 3. Causation and Injury: Proof that this breach directly caused injury to the patient. Patient abandonment, Georgia law stipulates that a physician may terminate the doctor-patient relationship but must provide adequate written notice, preferably through certified mail, allowing the patient reasonable time to find another healthcare provider. Failure to do so may be considered patient abandonment, a form of medical malpractice. The statute of limitations for filing a medical malpractice lawsuit in Georgia is generally two years from the date of the alleged negligent act. I am well within the statute of repose, and I have damages as a result of Dr. Kime and his office. Filing a complaint with the Georgia Composite Medical Board as well as any other methods of recourse available including but not limited to pursuing legal action. Your health and well-being are of utmost importance, and seeking the right support is crucial in addressing these concerns. I had an overdose on the patch that was prescribed from this doctor. The doctors office refused to let me speak to the doctor and said they can't provide any medication for me unless I see the doctor. I saw the doctor last week. There's no reason that this office denied me medical care in a timely fashion. The secretary, Shea in essence has caused me damages by refusing me medical care access to my doctor. She's the one who told me to go to the emergency room versus having my doctor prescribed medication. Aside from the economic loss for an exceeding of $3,000.00 I maintain the right to seek and all remedies. - [ ] I use the patches that were prescribed by the doctor. - [ ] I had a reaction to the medication and I called the doctors office to inform them of that. And if there's anything that they have or can prescribe me for pain. I was instructed to go to the hospital. - [ ] I was given the following medication's at the hospital: ONDANSTRON, morphine, IOPAMIDOL, Hydromorphine, fentanyl, and diazepam. - [ ] Upon discharge, I called the office as I was still in agony. The secretary delayed my access to my healthcare provider Dr.Kimes. Moreover, Dr. Kimes was more concerned about his secretary than his patient's threatening me that he would, "...terminate our relationship." Respondent superior. It's where an employer is responsible for the tourist acts of their employees. But not for Dr. Kimes' secretary blocking access to my medical care. Dr. Kimes instructed me to decrease my medication to one pill three times a day, which was approximate cause of over a weeks long agony with no more than an hour and 28 minutes. Sleep at night. My pain was a 10 out of 10, which necessitated me going to the hospital via ambulance. Demands money before calling a script in after ignoring my calls for help. AVOID THIS OFFICE. Is your weight loss doctor or is he a pain doctor? Dr is easy to anger and brag about his wrestling and his short temper. Why?
